In recent years,the importance of pre-school education has become increasingly important and the corresponding market demand is growing.Pre-school education includes family education,school(kindergarten)education and social education,while pre-school publications,as knowledge carriers,play an extremely important role throughout the educational process.With technological innovation and social development,the preschool publishing ecosystem has become increasingly complex,interacting and reacting with a variety of internal and external factors.Using media ecology as a research perspective,this paper uses literature research,case study and participant observation methods to examine the media ecology of preschool publishing in China,with the aim of understanding the obstacles in the development of preschool publishing in China and exploring corresponding countermeasure ideas.On the basis of defining the connotation of preschool publishing,the thesis relies on the division of internal and external ecology in media ecology theory to explore the influence and interaction of external social environment factors such as politics,economy,culture and technology on preschool publishing in China,analyse the interaction of elements such as the transmitter,audience and content varieties of preschool publishing,and summarise the ecological concerns of preschool publishing in China at present.Through a specific examination of the well-known preschool publishing brand Kodomo Challenge,we summarise its advantageous experience and survival strategies,reflect on its existing shortcomings,and propose ideas for optimising the future development of preschool publishing in China,emphasising the synergistic improvement of the internal and external ecology.
