| As an important link in shaping students’ development,the teacher-student relationship plays an important role in promoting students’ academic performance and future development trend.As an educational organization accounting for half of the total in the field of higher education,higher vocational colleges are faced with more difficulties and challenges in the aspects of student source,student spirit,student development path and the construction of harmonious relationship between teachers and students compared with ordinary colleges and universities.How to build a good trust relationship between counselors and freshmen in higher vocational colleges is an important subject with both practical significance and policy response.Building a good trust relationship between counselors and freshmen is not only conducive to cultivating students’ lifelong growth concept with positive thinking as the core,but also can promote the professional development of counselors in higher vocational colleges.Based on the current difficulties in the construction of teacher-student relationship,this study adopts the research logic of "theoretical exploration-quantitative analysis-qualitative exploration-experience induction" to conduct an in-depth exploration on how to build the trust relationship between counselors and freshmen.The relationship of trust between counselors and freshmen in higher vocational colleges refers to the relationship of continuous dependence that freshmen establish on counselors for the expected benefit of the protection and guidance provided by counselors.Literature research shows that the relationship between counselors and students is one of the closest teacher-student relationships in the school.Building a good trust relationship between counselors and freshmen can help freshmen adapt to campus life quickly,which is conducive to the healthy growth of students.It can also save the cost of education in colleges and universities virtually,improve the quality and ability of counselors,and also has important significance for the construction of harmonious campus.The theories of interpersonal relationship,lifelong growth and career development constitute the basic theories of this topic.Through investigation and research,it is found that there are many problems in the trust relationship between counselors and freshmen,such as less communication times,insufficient concern of counselors for freshmen,and the effect of counselors to solve freshmen suffering needs to be strengthened.With the rapid development of higher vocational colleges,the structure of new students is more complex,the quality of students is uneven,the work pressure of counselors is heavy,and the flow of team personnel is unstable.These objective conditions make the management and education of students in higher vocational colleges have many defects and deficiencies.From the case study,the trust relationship between counselors and freshmen has a complex evolution.Based on the theoretical and empirical analysis,this paper tries to find the reasons for the problems from the three aspects of school,counselor and students and puts forward the corresponding solutions.Vocational colleges should pay attention to the problems of counselor professional growth,optimize the measures to build the counselor team,and constantly improve the overall quality of the counselor team.Further strengthen the communication between counselors and freshmen,construct the harmonious teacher-student relationship of trust between counselors and freshmen,so as to provide a new way and direction for strengthening the effect of student management. |
