A Practical Study On Social Work’s Participation In Accurate Assistance For Urban Poor Teenagers

In recent years,as the problems and needs of urban poor teenagers become more complicated and diversified,the relief work has gradually changed from survival relief to development relief.As a professional helping activity,professional social work can use scientific and professional methods and skills to make up for the vacancy of traditional rescue mode,solve the problems of life for teenagers,help teenagers better adapt to the society,and promote their more comprehensive and healthy growth.Therefore,it is crucial for professional social work to intervene in the precise rescue of urban poor teenagers.Through the establishment of relief service centers for needy people in every street in Beijing and the government’s purchase of services,social workers are dispatched by social work organizations to enter the hardship service centers to carry out accurate relief work.However,it can be found that there are still many problems and difficulties in the practice of social work participation.Therefore,in the context of government-social cooperation,it is an important topic worth exploring how social work should give full play to its professional advantages,effectively participate in the precise rescue of urban teenagers,and promote their physical and mental health and all-round development.This paper adopts the method of case study,takes the practice of Z social work organization participating in the precision assistance of poor teenagers in S street as the research object,and uses literature method,semi-structured interview method and participatory observation method to collect data,so as to explore and study how social work can give full play to its professional advantages to effectively participate in the precision assistance of urban teenagers.With four basic system theories as the analytical framework,this paper describes and systematically analyzes the practical origin,practical process,practical strategies and methods of Z social work agency’s participation in the precise assistance of poor teenagers in S street.And on this basis,summed up the characteristics of the rescue practice and the existing deficiencies.Through the study of Z social work organization’s participation in the practice of precise assistance for poor teenagers in S street,this paper draws five conclusions: First,social work promotes the change of service objects in the process of circular assistance;Secondly,the roles and positioning of multiple entities in the process of precise rescue are dynamic.Thirdly,the participation of social work in precision rescue pays attention to the integrated,personalized and efficient service;Fourthly,the participation of social work in precision assistance emphasizes the need oriented multidimensional and all-round assistance;Fifthly,there are still multiple dilemmas in the process of social work participating in precision assistance.In the end,this paper puts forward suggestions from four aspects: individual social workers,project design and management,systematic cooperation,and policies,hoping that social work can better play its professional advantages,effectively participate in accurate assistance,and promote the comprehensive and healthy development of urban poor teenagers.
