With the changes of the times and the development of society, the material life of the Chinese people has gradually improved, and at the same time, the demand for spiritual needs has also become increasingly high.As the negative effects of anxiety become more and more prominent, people are paying more and more attention to it.With the gradual reform of the judicial system, the requirements of the state for prison police officers have also been gradually raised. The sense of professional burnout among prison police officers is becoming more and more intense. The requirements of the Prison Administration Bureau for grassroots prison personnel are becoming increasingly strict, and prison management is becoming standardized, scientific, and civilized. The previous simple and rough management methods have been completely banned. However, higher management requirements and greater workload also bring more psychological pressure, and as frontline law enforcement personnel in the judiciary, prison police officers are particularly prone to occupational burnout. This prompts grassroots prison police officers to bear enormous professional pressure. This article conducts research on X prison in S province, using the perspective of advantage theory and social support theory as guidance, and using questionnaire survey and interview methods to collect data and information.A total of 60 frontline grassroots prison police officers were randomly selected as the research objects. The study found that the level of occupational burnout of frontline grassroots prison police officers in the prison reached a moderate level, and the influencing factors were complex and diverse.Occupational burnout is manifested in physical and psychological aspects.Based on the survey results, five grassroots prison police officers were selected for case interviews and small group work was conducted.Through five small group activities to increase interaction among group members, social work professional methods were used to alleviate the sense of professional burnout among grassroots prison police officers.
