In recent years,with the increased complexity and tasks of the police work,auxiliary police have been recruited in large numbers every year,and the number has increased sharply.However,with the increasingly prominent role played by auxiliary police,the number of public security auxiliary police injured and died in the line of duty is also increasing.Such a huge workload,as well as the intensity and extremely high risk of overload,will have a negative impact on the physical and mental health of the public security community,followed by job burnout.Based on the dominant perspective theory and the theory of social support,this study studies the occupational burnout of auxiliary police officers at Guiyang Y police station.Field observation,questionnaire survey and non-structural interview methods are used to analyze the factors affecting the occupational burnout of auxiliary police in the police station.The research results show that 50 auxiliary police officers at Y police station generally have mild occupational burnout symptoms.On this basis,social workers recruited 8 members for this group work,designed and implemented 6group activities after assessing their needs.Research shows that the group work of social work has a very obvious effect on the symptoms of mild occupational burnout of auxiliary police.Most of the members of the group have achieved the group’s goals,and the work pressure has been released accordingly.At the same time,a good social support network has been established.However,there are also some shortcomings in the group process.Therefore,this article finally reflects on the advantages and disadvantages of the group’s activities,the recognition of social workers by the team members,and finds out improvement strategies.
