The teaching innovation of middle school teachers is affected by many factors,among which the leadership model is a very important factor.Taking middle school teachers as the main research object,this study explores the characteristics of this group’s teaching innovation,transformational leadership and organizational identity,and reveals the relationship between transformational leadership,organizational identity and teachers’ teaching innovation.The study selected six middle school teachers in Yining City as the research object.A total of 425 teachers were investigated by questionnaire.Through the empirical analysis of the questionnaire data,there are three questionnaires,the first is about the innovation of middle school teachers,the second is the Transformational Leadership Questionnaire,and the third is the organizational identity questionnaire.After the questionnaire was collected,spss22.0software for data statistical analysis;The conclusions mainly include the following parts:(1)There is no significant gender difference,professional title difference and teaching age difference in each dimension and total score of middle school teachers’ teaching innovation behavior;The teaching innovation of teachers with bachelor’s degree is higher than that of teachers with master’s degree.(2)There are no gender differences and teaching age differences in middle school teachers’ organizational identity,but there are significant differences in professional titles and academic qualifications.The scores of senior middle school teachers’ organizational identity and teachers with intermediate professional titles are higher than those with primary professional titles;The organizational identity score of teachers with undergraduate and professional qualifications is higher than that of teachers with master’s degree.(3)The scores of transformational leadership perceived by middle school teachers do not have differences in teaching age and professional title,but there are differences in gender and educational background.The total score and each dimension score of male teachers’ perception of transformational leadership are higher than those of female teachers.The scores of transformational leadership and dimensions perceived by undergraduate middle school teachers are higher than those perceived by postgraduates;Teachers with college degree or below scored higher than those with master’s degree in virtue,leadership charm and personalized care.(4)Transformational leadership,organizational identity and middle school teachers’ teaching innovation are significantly positively correlated.Transformational leadership has a positive predictive effect on teaching innovation,organizational identity has a positive predictive effect on teaching innovation,and transformational leadership has a positive predictive effect on organizational identity.(5)Organizational identity plays an intermediary role in the path of transformational leadership affecting teaching innovation.According to the conclusion of empirical analysis,this study puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions of middle school teachers’ teaching innovation from three perspectives.First,we need to actively create an innovative school atmosphere and gradually form a transformational leadership style;Secondly,we need to continuously improve the organizational identity of middle school teachers,specifically from the promotion system,assessment system and incentive system to achieve this goal.
