| Mr Xia Mianzun’s integrated reading and writing teaching methodology was widely acknowledged in the Chinese language education community at the time,but there has not been sufficient research and application of Mr Xia Mianzun’s teaching strategy in the academic community at this point in time.At the moment,in the current pedagogical practice of middle school language teaching,due to some teachers’ lack of accurate understanding of Mr Xia’s teaching philosophy of the combination of reading and writing,it is difficult to achieve good teaching results in the implementation of this teaching mode.Because of this situation,this paper has summarised Mr Xia Mianzun’s idea of reading and writing as one for language teaching through a literature review and explored the distinct value of his pedagogical ideas.It is hoped than contemporary language teachers will learn from Mr Xia Mianzun’s idea of integrated reading and writing teaching and apply it to their practices so as to improve the efficiency of language teaching in secondary education.Firstly,in the introduction section,this paper states the background,purpose and significance of this study,and discusses in detail the necessity and significance of Mr Xia Mianzun’s ideas on integrated language teaching and learning for reading and writing.Then,in the documentary review,relevant research results are presented in a targeted manner to provide strong support and reference for the study.Secondly,by organising the formation procedure of Xia Mianzun’s idea of combining reading and writing,the external and personal factors that led to the emergence of Xia Mianzun’s idea of combining reading and writing are elaborated.Once or twice,through documentation research,generalisation and relatively analysis,the main contents and characteristics of Xia Mianzun’s idea of integrating reading and writing are elaborated.The ontological issues of integrative reading and writing are clarified,including why and how reading and writing are integrated.The objectives,content and methods of language-teaching in Xia Mianzun’s idea of integrating reading and writing are analysed,and it is clarified that Xia Mianzun’s teaching idea of integrating reading and writing is the connection between the intellectual and the emotional.Xia Mianzun’s integration of reading and writing in language teaching.Finally,this document takes the departmental version of the secondary language instructional materials as an example and analyses the inspiration of Mr.Xia Mianzun’s teaching philosophy of integrating reading and writing to the current secondary language reading and writing teaching,and transitions from the enlightenment of this teaching philosophy to the exploration of implementation strategies for secondary state language teaching,providing strategies for the "reading" and "writing" in secondary state language teaching The study of the combination of reading and writing in the secondary school curriculum provides strategies for the mutual integration of reading and writing. |
