| The Jiangsu Provincial Traditional Chinese Art Museum was an important venue for implementing traditional Chinese art education in Jiangsu during the Republic of China period, and was the first branch of the Central Traditional Chinese Art Museum to be established. The curriculum in the library is the carrier of implementing traditional Chinese martial arts education and an important means of achieving the goals of traditional Chinese martial arts education. However, research on the curriculum of Jiangsu Provincial National Art Museum is still very limited to this day. Therefore,in order to improve our historical understanding of it,this study uses methods such as literature review, comparative research, historical analysis, and logical analysis to analyze the background of the curriculum offered by the Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Traditional Chinese Arts at that time.Starting with the curriculum elements,it explores and organizes the theoretical basis, objectives, content, implementation, and evaluation of the provincial museum curriculum. At the same time,we will also compare the curriculum of provincial and central libraries,in order to identify the differences, connections, and causes of the two,and supplement the research on the curriculum of provincial libraries. The research conclusion is as follows:Firstly,in terms of curriculum background, the phenomenon of "dethroning martial arts and advocating literature" in Jiangsu Province is quite serious; The Central Chinese Academy of Arts established its first provincial branch in Jiangsu; In order to develop Chinese martial arts education, the demand for Chinese martial arts talents and teachers has increased. The educational factors inherent in the Chinese martial arts museum make it necessary to cultivate teachers.Secondly,in terms of curriculum elements, the purpose, motto, and slogans of the provincial library serve as the theoretical basis for the curriculum. The course objectives are to promote health, promote scientific Chinese martial arts, participate in interesting and beneficial Chinese martial arts, adhere to the library’s motto of ’bravery and peace’,and have a wide range of Chinese martial arts talents. The course content includes disciplines and technical subjects, with Chinese martial arts courses, military training courses, common sense courses, and party justice courses set up respectively. The proportion of Chinese martial arts courses is the largest, followed by party and righteousness courses. The curriculum implementation adopts a class based teaching system, with highly targeted classes and schools set up based on the teaching objectives and teaching objects. The curriculum arrangement is adjusted according to the students’ situation to ensure smooth class attendance. In addition, the curriculum organization, teachers, funds, and teaching venues are guaranteed to a certain extent.Course evaluation mainly takes the form of teaching and hosting student exams, with subject writing and technical performance. The teacher training session has all clear exam procedures, highlighting the importance that the provincial government attaches to cultivating teachers.Sun Lutang is the academic affairs director of the provincial hall, and some students who graduated from the provincial hall have also become excellent Chinese martial arts instructors.Thirdly,in terms of comparison with the curriculum of the Central Chinese Academy of Arts, overall, the provincial curriculum is included in the curriculum of the central library, and the various elements of the curriculum are relatively dependent on the central library, but there are also significant differences between the two in individual aspects.Among them, the Jiangsu Provincial Traditional Chinese Arts Museum only offers courses on the knowledge and skills of traditional Chinese arts that students are good at,making it easier for students to learn the essence of one or several traditional Chinese arts, and can better maintain the attacking characteristics of traditional Chinese arts. The courses offered by the Central Library are rich in content, with students learning various types of Chinese martial arts but not proficient in them.In terms of implementation, the provincial government has opened open-air schools based on gender and age, providing opportunities for more ordinary people to learn Chinese martial arts. However, the classes offered by the central library are not highly targeted, and the enrollment scope is relatively small. Finally, through the study of the courses at the Jiangsu Provincial National Art Museum,we can draw inspiration as follows:(1)schools should actively promote traditional martial arts education and adopt appropriate slogans to promote martial arts;(2)Reform the cultivation of martial arts teachers and strengthen the emphasis on the characteristics of martial arts techniques and attacks;(3)Grasp the theme of the times, adhere to the development concept of the 20 th National Congress, and promote the diversified dissemination of martial arts;(4)School martial arts education should be based on the popularity of folk boxers and martial artist to dredge the source channels of martial arts teachers;(5)Local development relies on the government, and the government should support the standardized and diversified development of local martial arts. |
