| In response to the new round of curriculum reform,effectively cultivating students’ core competencies in chemistry,and cultivating applied talents for the country and society,it has become a trend for teachers to carry out life oriented teaching in the development of chemistry education.Life-based teaching is a teaching method that highlights teacher leadership and student centeredness.In theory,life oriented teaching is to place teaching activities in real life situations,transform students’ learning needs into internal needs of life,stimulate their strong desire to participate in learning,enable them to learn in life,enhance their emotional experience,and cultivate their innovative awareness and practical ability.Teachers integrate real-life situations throughout the entire classroom during teaching,no longer limited to setting up situations in the introduction process,effectively enhancing students’ learning experience.Conducting this study is beneficial for improving the relationship between traditional teaching and learning,and can provide teaching references for other educators.It has practical significance for promoting the reform of the new curriculum.This article conducts research through methods such as interview,questionnaire survey,literature research,and practical research.The designed life oriented teaching case is applied to the teaching of high school chemistry.Through qualitative and quantitative analysis of student grades and interview results,the following conclusion is drawn:(1)Life-based teaching can effectively improve students’ interest in learning and enable them to actively participate in the classroom,improve students’ academic performance,and give full play to the advantages of teacher-led and student-centered.(2)Life-based teaching can improve students’ ability to solve practical problems,cultivate students’ innovative consciousness and exploration spirit,and fully develop students’ core quality of chemistry.(3)Life-based teaching can strengthen the connection between knowledge and life,promote students’ thinking,and improve students’ ability to use knowledge. |
