Physical education teaching skills are practical skills for postgraduates with a master’s degree in physical education(hereinafter referred to as "masters in physical education")who will be engaged in physical education teaching in the future.As the basic teaching skills in physical education teaching skills,presentation and demonstration skills are supposed to be mastered and used proficiently by the master of physical education.As a new teaching method that is different from traditional teaching methods,case teaching method plays a significant role in boosting the practical ability of physical education master’s teaching.Based on the practical teaching effect of the case teaching method,our country’s education department is also actively promoting its application in the education and training courses of master of physical education.In addition,it is regarded as a momentous way to strengthen the practical ability training of professional degree postgraduates,boost teaching reform,and a crucial way to promote the organic integration of teaching and practice.Nevertheless,case teaching needs to have sufficient teaching cases as support,but the current research on teaching case development in the field of sports in our country is not in depth,the research results are deficient,and the teaching cases are critically scarcity,which is extremely hinders the extension and application of case teaching method in the field of sports in our country.Therefore,in order to implement the teaching reform requirements of our country’s education department and upgrade the current situation of lack of cases,it is indispensable to carry out research on teaching cases development.This research regards the course "Theory and Practice of Physical Education Teaching Skills" of Hebei Normal University as the research case,and employs the teaching cases development of physical education classroom presentation and demonstration skills as the research object to carry out the research of teaching case development.The purpose of this research is to exploit teaching cases appropriate for the course "Physical Education Teaching Skills Theory and Practice",ameliorate the current situation of lack of cases in the field of physical education in our country,enrich and optimize the theory of teaching case development,and mend the effective development of case teaching method in the field of physical education in our country.The research methods employed in this study principally incorporate case study method,literature method,survey method and mathematical statistics method.First and foremost,this research establishes the course "Theory and Practice of Physical Education Teaching Skills" of Hebei Normal University as the case study object.In addition,this research utilizes the literature method and the Delphi method to establish an index system for presentation and demonstration skills so as to clarify and exploit the research content.Furthermore,based on the constructed index content,relevant questionnaires were designed to investigate and summarize the typical problems of PE masters using presentation and demonstration skills case development materials.Last but not least,based on the collected case materials,this research completed the development of teaching cases of physical education classroom presentation and demonstration skills.The conclusions obtained from the research are as follows.(1)This research constructs the content index system of presentation and demonstration skills in PE classroom.Among them,presentation skills include 3 first-level indicators,11second-level indicators and 40 third-level indicators;while demonstration skills include 3first-level indicators,11 second-level indicators and 30 third-level indicators.Moreover,the indicators at all levels have concluded a commendable consensus through expert inquiries.(2)This study summarizes the typical problems of physical education masters employing presentation and demonstration skills through the analysis of the current situation.The typical problems that occur when using presentation skills include: failure to arrange the explanation time reasonably;failure to reasonably choose explanation aids;use of words Inaccurate,not using the terminology correctly;speaking too fast or too slow,not having a reasonable grasp of the rhythm of the explanation;not emphasizing the key points of technical movements;not emphasizing the difficulties of technical movements,etc.In addition,the typical problems that arise when using demonstration skills include: failure to properly select demonstration methods;not properly adjusting the relative position of students’ observations;failure to conduct single-sided demonstrations in a targeted manner;not demonstrating accordingly when students make mistakes,etc.(3)On the basis of determining the theoretical basis,principles,basic structure and specific process of teaching case development of PE classroom presentation and demonstration skills,this study collects case materials in a targeted manner according to the typical problems of master of PE,and finally completes the teaching case development of physical education classroom presentation and demonstration skills.Meanwhile,the final developed teaching case is "Acquisition of Presentation and Demonstration Skills for Master of Physical Education".(4)Based on the classroom teaching needs of the course "Theory and Practice of Physical Education Teaching Skills",this study finally expanded the teaching examples including typical problems of physical education classroom presentation and demonstration skills.Among them,there are 5 typical examples of presentation skills,which are respectively "Example 1: Reasonable arrangement of presentation time;Example 2: Reasonable selection of explanatory aids;Example 3: Correct use of sports terminology;Example 4: Reasonably control the speed of presentation;Example 5: Effective teaching emphasis ".Meanwhile,there are four typical examples of demonstration skills,which are respectively "Example 1:Reasonable design of demonstration methods;Example 2: Adjust the demonstration position reasonably;Example 3: Rational selection of demonstration directions;Example 4: Rationally grasp the demonstration opportunities ".(5)Research limitations: Due to the limited time and energy,the author only carried out the research on the development of teaching cases,but failed to conduct the practical application research on case teaching.In other words,the research requires to be furthered.
