At present,the mental health problems of junior high school students occur frequently,which has aroused the high attention of the educational circle and the society.In the process of art education in junior high school,art therapy is of great significance to guide the mental health development of teenagers and the cultivation of personality.At present,there are few studies on art therapy in school art education at home and abroad.The purpose of this study is to explore the method of integrating art therapy into art teaching in junior high school,to combine art therapy with art education,relieve the pressure of adolescent students,help students correctly understand negative emotions,and realize self-recognition,self-expression and self-growth.This thesis consists of five parts.The first part is the introduction,which studies the birth background of art therapy at home and abroad,investigates the experts from various countries who put forward advanced ideas such as the concept and application of art therapy,and understands the development status of art therapy at home and abroad by analyzing literature and works.The second part discusses the concept,theoretical basis and methods of art therapy in detail,and finds a theoretical basis for the integration of art therapy into art education.The third part is survey and interview.Interviews are conducted with the parents of the students and some teachers to understand their views on the integration of art therapy into art education.A student questionnaire survey is carried out to understand the students’ mental health and interest in art.The fourth part is the curriculum design strategy of integrating art therapy into junior high school art teaching.Through the analysis of the research results,some textbooks and courses are selected and integrated into the corresponding test methods,and practiced in specific teaching cases.For example,through "My Self-Portrait","Records of Emotions" and "The Beauty of Patterns-Mandala Painting" to help students improve their self-awareness,release bad emotions,realize self-growth,refine teaching methods,summarize the psychological changes of students before and after the course and improve The analysis provides ideas and directions for the integration of art therapy into junior high school art teaching in the future.The fifth part gives developmental suggestions and countermeasures for the integration of art therapy into teaching,and reflects on the shortcomings of this study.
