Table tennis,as the leading sport of competitive sports,has been paid close attention by the whole nation.As the saying goes,a country is strong when the youth is strong.One of the important reasons why China’s table tennis performance continues to be among the top in the world is that we attach great importance to the cultivation of reserve talents.The best age for enlightening table tennis is at an important stage of the development of children and adolescents,so it is particularly important to carry out scientific and systematic enlightening teaching,which is worth our research and elaboration and in-depth analysis.Table tennis enlightenment teaching has the limitation of monotonous content,easy to consume the interest of students,thus losing the enthusiasm for learning table tennis,it is difficult to continue to stick to this sport.Therefore,the enlightenment teaching of table tennis is in urgent need of innovation and refinement.VR technology is an emerging technology with computer technology as the core and multisource information integration.It is a research hotspot in the field of computer.It can help participants interact with objects in virtual space and provide them with visual,auditory and other immersive feelings.Looking at the development of science and technology in our country in recent years,we can see that sports has become an extremely important application field of VR and is at a thriving situation.Relying on the virtual learning scenarios developed by VR technology,sports teaching will have more possibilities.Beijing Kaiying Sports Technology Co.,Ltd.is the first company in China to de-gamify VR and combine virtual reality with teaching plans.Now it has three branches in Beijing,Langfang and Bazhou,in which the author serves as a coach.The design and development of this system and teaching experiments are completed in cooperation with the company.After communicating with the management of the company and other coaches,I agreed to randomly select 200 students in the enlightenment stage to conduct teaching experiments in these three branches.The VR-based table tennis enlightenment auxiliary teaching system designed in this study focuses on students in the enlightenment stage,hoping to improve students’ interest and the quality of table tennis courses,and bring new experience to table tennis enlightenment teaching.First of all,by referring to relevant literature and interviewing table tennis practitioners,this study obtains the system design principles and guiding ideology applicable to the enlightenment teaching of table tennis,and analyzes the relevant functional requirements of students,teachers and the system.At the same time,the enlightenment auxiliary teaching system of table tennis is reasonably designed in the aspects of movement demonstration,data analysis,special effects and so on.Secondly,the teaching experiment plan of Kaiying Sports Table Tennis Course written by Liu Bin,Professor Lu Aifa,Associate Professor Yu Yang and other experts was used as reference to design experimental materials and develop teaching experiment plans.Finally,the effect of system integration is analyzed and summarized by measuring students’ basic skills,situational interest and parents’ attitude.The results are as follows:(1)This study designed a table tennis auxiliary teaching system suitable for the enlightenment stage,and conducted preliminary development of it after cooperation with the company,which promoted the teaching and experience of table tennis to become more diversified and opened up ideas for the enlightenment teaching of table tennis.(2)The experimental results show that the VR-based table tennis enlightenment auxiliary teaching system designed in this study has a positive effect after being applied to table tennis enlightenment teaching.All the values of students in the experimental group are higher than those in the control group,with significant differences except the passing rate.The satisfaction,recommendation intention and attitude of parents in the experimental group had more positive effects than those in the control group.(3)The reasons for the high scores of students in the experimental group are as follows:(1)The teaching form is novel.(2)Natural human-computer interaction.(3)VR teaching videos show technical movements more clearly in front of students,improve students’ understanding of table tennis,and help students to further construct skills and knowledge.(4)The reasons why the students in the control group scored lower than those in the experimental group were as follows:(1)The teaching in the enlightenment stage was full of freehand movements,and repeated exercises would make students feel tired and lose their enthusiasm for learning;(2)Students in the enlightenment stage are prone to poor power control,physical disharmony and other problems,while the control group lacks the stimulation of the experimental group in the virtual situation,resulting in the weakening of students’ learning motivation.
