With the advent and development of the 21st-century knowledge economy,the requirements for talent cultivation are increasing,and the demand for classroom teaching efficiency and quality is gradually increasing as well.Improving teaching efficiency and achieving greater teaching results in a shorter period is a goal that education is constantly pursuing.Different teaching methods should be adopted for different teaching conditions and different students to improve teaching efficiency.In response to the low effectiveness of modern junior high school biology classroom teaching,this study analyzes and explores ways and methods to improve teaching efficiency,providing a reference for junior high school biology education and teaching management work.Based on constructivism,Babansky’s optimal teaching theory and Ausubel’s meaningful learning,this study adopts questionnaire survey and case analysis method through a large number of data collation and literature analysis.Firstly,the teaching status of biology teachers and students’ learning status in junior high school were investigated by questionnaire survey method,and the factors affecting the effectiveness of biology classroom teaching in junior high school were analyzed.On the basis of the survey results,effective teaching strategies were discussed,and the case studies were added from before,during and after class,and the selected case was "Chapter 5: The Lifestyle of Green Flowering Plants-Respiration".Apply effective teaching strategies to actual teaching,and verify the correctness of effective teaching strategies by testing students’ performance after the three-month teaching practice.It can be seen that after three months of practice,the results of the experimental group are higher than those of the control group,which proves that the implementation of effective teaching strategies is necessary and feasible.
