After a few years of teaching practice,I come to realize that reading and writing are two hardest forts to overcome for Chinese teaching in the junior middle school.Furthermore,reading is relatively easy to grasp and its improvement effect is obvious.Nevertheless,composition,a combined labor of spirit and practice,has too many uncontrollable factors,which leads to many difficulties in teaching operation.However,we still hope to find some feasible ways to make the composition teaching no longer scared.This paper is based on exploration and reflection of long-time teaching practice.Since teaching is a planned,purposeful and dynamic activity,we should explore the issues that should be paid attention to and find effective solutions from all aspects of this activity.This is the starting point of this writing;i.e.from the basic teaching procedure,a feasible and better-operated thinking can be sought by looking for manipulative behaviors the teachers and students can provide in each segment of preparing,teaching,correcting and tutoring compositions in combination with theoretical thinkings and individual reflections in our teaching practice.This study is divided into three parts:introduction,body and conclusion,and there are four chapters in this thesis The contents are as follows:The introduction puts forward the topic and makes an account of the current situation research on "effective composition teaching".The lierature review will be described from the perspectives of research ideas and achievements at home and abroad.Chapter One is the research background of effective composition teaching in the junior high school,mainly exploring the necessary implementation of effective teaching from the roles of students' comprehensive quality,aesthetic education and the reform of the Chinese curriculum and other aspects.Then,reasons for inefficiency of composition teaching in junior high school can be illustrated by analyzing the results of questionnaires on students' writing and teachers' teaching from the perspectives of subjective and objective factors.For the objective factor,two aspects,such as compiling the textbook and the time of teacher' teaching research being occupied,are emphatically illustrated.As to the subjective factor,four aspects,such as teachers' personal opinions,teaching activities in the implementation of preparation before class,class organization in class,feedback after class,could be analyzed.Chapter Two involves theorectical foundations of effective compostion teaching in junior high school and its feasibile analysis.This chapter is the theory of the present study.The article explains the connotation of effective composition teaching from the definition on effective teaching at home and abroad and explores effective composition teaching from the teaching activities on the implementation of the procedures in combination with constructivism,mastery learning theory,optimization theory,cooperative learning theory.After that,it illustrates the subjective and objective factors of composition teaching reform in the analysis of the feasibility of effective teaching by putting forward reform of current teaching materials,the construction of campus culture and community culture,rich resources in information age,group cooperation teaching mode.The Third chapter illustrates effective teaching methods and strategies of composition in junior high school.This chapter seeks the well-operated ways in the composition teaching in the combination of the partial and brief examples to explore feasible strategies on the implementation of effective compositon teaching in junior high school mainly from the understanding of students' writing situation before class,the scientific formulation of teaching goals,teachers' writing and composition teaching research,proper use of group cooperation in class organization,effective use of community,multiple subjects and ways in the after-class evaluationThe Fourth chapter is case analysis of effective compostion teaching.One case is about a group cooperative teaching in dealing with the source material of composition,the second one is about hierarchical writing training based on the wrting skills.The last one is about the joint and combined design of reading and writing found by a teacher delving into teaching material and her speculations on composition writing.conclusion:The conclusion part summarizes the research process and results;and analyzes the prospect and future of the research.
