It takes ten years to grow a tree,but a hundred years to educate a person.In 2016,General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out at the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities that China’s education should adhere to the center of cultivating virtue and cultivating people,and run ideological and political work through the entire process of education and teaching,so as to cultivate students into socialist builders and successors with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor.In the same year,in order to better implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s meeting,the Ministry of Education put forward specific requirements from four aspects: comprehensive study and understanding,strengthening publicity and guidance,and in-depth implementation and strengthening organizational leadership.In 2020,the Ministry of Education issued guidelines on the construction of ideological and political education in higher education,which clearly requires all disciplines to integrate ideological and political education according to the characteristics and strengths of their respective disciplines.Through classroom teaching,students can clearly understand the basic laws of development,understand basic principles,and establish values in knowledge learning and vision expansion.Gradually become a qualified builder and successor.Therefore,with the research idea of "combing literature,finding problems--investigating statistics,analyzing problems--proposing strategies,solving problems--mining elements,case design--applying practice,and testing effect",this paper carries out the research on the integration of curriculum ideology and politics into geography classroom teaching in high school,in order to give full play to the characteristics and advantages of geography and provide basis for middle school geography teachers to carry out curriculum ideology and politics teaching.So as to promote the full development of the students.First of all,by referring to relevant literature,this paper summarizes the current situation of ideological and political research in the curriculum at home and abroad,and understands its research process,especially the research on ideological and political research in the geography curriculum in high school;at the same time,the concept of "ideological and political curriculum","ideological and political curriculum" and "ideological and political curriculum in geography" are defined and the appropriate theoretical support is sought.Secondly,through the method of questionnaire survey and classroom observation,this paper understands the cognition,willingness and implementation status of front-line geography teachers on ideological and political curriculum in high school,and on this basis summarizes the existing problems in ideological and political teaching of geography curriculum in high school.Third,combined with the investigation of the current situation of ideological and political education in high school geography curriculum and previous studies,this paper puts forward the following suggestions: "Accurately understand the connotation of ideological and political education in curriculum,improve teachers’ ideological and political literacy in curriculum","closely follow the curriculum standards and textbooks of high school geography,establish learning objectives","multi-channel mining and collection of ideological and political materials","diversified teaching methods,enrich the teaching forms of ideological and political education in curriculum" and "diversified construction The ideological and political evaluation mechanism " five high school geography curriculum ideological and political implementation strategies.Fourthly,according to the chapter and section,the ideological and political elements are excavated and sorted out for the first compulsory high school geography course of the New student education edition,and the three teaching contents of Karst Landform,Geological Disaster and Flood disaster are selected to carry out the case design study of ideological and political curriculum,so as to provide demonstration and reference for geography teachers to carry out curriculum ideological and political teaching design.Finally,an empirical study is carried out on the teaching design scheme of "Flood Disaster",and the theory is applied into practice to further test the scientific,practical and implementation effect of the ideological and political implementation strategy and case design of high school geography curriculum.
