In 2016,General Secretary Xi Jinping mentioned at the National Conference on Ideological and Political Work in Colleges and Universities that classroom teaching should be well used as the main channel to make all kinds of courses and ideological and political theory courses work in the same direction and form synergistic effects.In June 2020,the Ministry of Education issued the Guidelines for Ideological and Political Construction of Courses in Institutions of Higher Learning,emphasizing that ideological and political education should be integrated into the personnel training system and every course should play a good role in educating people.On July21,2021,the national textbook committee issued by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era into the curriculum guide,made clear that must firmly adhere to Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the instruction,its education throughout the whole teaching process each link,comprehensively enhance curriculum cast soul education function.But in the exam-oriented education environment,the development of curriculum ideology and politics is limited.The implementation of high school geography curriculum is conducive to the cultivation of students’ core literacy of geography,and is also a necessary move to adapt to the new era of college education reform.At the same time,geography is a subject with dual attributes of natural science and social science,which contains many ideological and political elements,which provides a good curriculum resources for the development of high school geography curriculum ideological and political.Based on Marx’s theory of all-round human development,Kohlberg’s moral development theory,implicit ideological and political education theory,and Xi Jinping’s curriculum ideological and political theory,this study firstly sorted out and classified the ideological and political content of high school geography curriculum through literature research.The typical ideological and political contents in the compulsory geography textbooks of high school of Hunan Education edition are sorted out and some suggestions are put forward.Secondly,questionnaire survey and interview are used to investigate the implementation status of high school geography curriculum.In view of the problems found in the survey,this paper puts forward the design and implementation strategies of high school geography curriculum ideological and political teaching.Finally,typical cases are selected for a complete teaching design and empirical research.The main conclusions are as follows:Firstly,by sorting out the ideological and political content in high school geography curriculum,and analyzing the ideological and political elements in compulsory course 1 and compulsory course 2 of Hunan Education Edition,it is found that there are many knowledge points that can be integrated into the curriculum ideological and political knowledge,and it is feasible for teachers to implement the curriculum ideological and political knowledge in high school geography curriculum.Secondly,according to the survey,it is found that there are many obstacles in the current ideological and political education of senior high school geography curriculum,students’ initiative in the ideological and political education of geography curriculum is poor,and the level of ideological and political literacy needs to be improved.Teachers hold a positive attitude towards high school geography curriculum,but lack the ability to implement geography curriculum due to the lack of guarantee mechanism and unreasonable evaluation system.Thirdly,based on the results of research and investigation,the principles of ideological and political teaching design for senior geography curriculum are put forward,including the principle of small pace,the principle of cognitive conflict,the principle of emotional resonance and the principle of independent choice.The methods of ideological and political teaching design of senior high school geography course include highlighting the value of subject education and designing teaching objectives;Combining the resources inside and outside the course,developing the ideological and political content of the course;Optimize the process of classroom teaching and choose various teaching methods;The whole process of multiple investigation,improve teaching evaluation management.Then summarized the implementation strategies of high school geography curriculum ideology and politics as follows: establish curriculum ideology and politics guarantee mechanism;To improve teachers’ ideological and political literacy of geography course;Improve the evaluation management system.Fourthly,the case close to students’ life is selected to design and practice the geography course ideological and political teaching.Through the analysis of experimental results,it is found that the ideological and political teaching of senior high school geography course effectively improves students’ ideological and political literacy.
