A Case Study On The Education Of Minors Involved In Crime With Conditional Non-prosecution From The Perspective Of Ecosystem

In recent years,juvenile delinquency cases occur from time to time and have become a hot topic in society.Minors relate to nation’s future,for the purpose of protecting minors,our judicature insists on the idea of "education,persuasion and rescue",the minor involved in a crime who commits a minor crime on impulse or with a good attitude to correct mistakes may not be prosecuted or investigated for legal responsibility,but they must receive a prescribed period of help and education to promote their healthy growth.In this context,social work has become the main force of assistance and education services by virtue of its professional advantages,and plays an important role in the judicial field.During the 6 months ’internship,the researcher came into contact with a group of minors involved in crimes with conditional non-prosecution.After investigation,it was found that help object W had complex crime reasons,cognitive biases,weak family support,difficulties in social integration,etc.,and need help from social worker to get out of trouble as soon as possible.After communication with W,the researcher finally determined W as the service object of this study.The researcher uphold the professional values and trust relationship was established by applying the professional skills and the service object,through the observation and interview method to collect the detailed data,and with the help of general self-efficacy scale(GSES),family structure map,ecological map and other tools,the micro,medium and macro multi-system needs of service objects were evaluated,and on this basis to determine the service targets and service plan.Ecosystem theory has a wider application,focusing on the multiple effects of environmental systems on individuals.The researcher takes the theory as the framework and applies case work method to intervene.The service plan is divided into three levels: in terms of micro system,rational emotion therapy was used to intervene on subjects’ cognitive problems such as self-efficacy,friendship view and outlook on life;in terms of the middle system,it focuses on the family system of the service object,helping the service object to recover the family support function;in terms of the macro system,through the integration of resources,the social adaptation of the service recipient is promoted,and the judicial assistance and education system is continuously improved.After the evaluation,the service recipient returned to society smoothly.Finally,this research are summarized and reflection,the researcher draw the conclusion: from the perspective of the ecosystem,casework intervention in the process of helping and teaching minors involved in conditional non-prosecution of crimes has a certain effect.Social workers can deeply understand the problem of non-prosecution of minors subject to conditions,fully respond to the various needs of service objects,and achieve The balance of the entire system relationship to achieve the goal of helping and teaching.At the same time,the research also reflects that there are some problems in practice,such as unstable service effect,lack of professionalism of social workers and difficulty in linking resources.the researcher also puts forward suggestions for improvement.It is hoped that the research can provide reference for other scholars’ research in this area.
