A Study On The Case Work Of Helping And Educating Juvenile Offenders With Conditional Non-prosecution From The Perspective Of Social Suppor

In recent years,China’s judicial and procuratorial system has gradually attached importance to social work assistance for minors involved in crimes.The intervention of social workers in minors’ conditional non prosecution is one of the manifestations of innovative social governance,which can effectively alleviate the problem of juvenile delinquency and promote cooperation between families,schools,and communities.Based on the author’s experience in carrying out conditional non prosecution practice for minors involved in crime in W Social Work Agency,this article first analyzes three cases of juvenile delinquency,summarizes the characteristics of juvenile delinquency involved in crime,and grasps the problems and basic needs they face.Subsequently,taking the most representative juvenile delinquent Xiao C as the research object of this article,through interview and observation research methods,it was found that Xiao C has multiple problems such as insufficient family and social support.On this basis,the author uses social support theory as guidance and adopts a case study approach for service intervention.During the intervention process,the author helped them build a comprehensive social support network from the perspectives of individuals,families,peer groups,and society,helping them smoothly pass the investigation period,correct bad behaviors,promote legal awareness,avoid recidivism,improve their level of social support,and successfully integrate into society.In the practice of individual assistance and education,social workers first clarify the problems and needs faced by the assistance and education objects,and develop and implement assistance and education plans from four levels: individual,family,peers,and society.Then,based on the goals set by the assistance and education objects,a comprehensive evaluation of the completion of the plan is conducted.The results show that through the assistance and education services provided by social workers,the legal awareness of the assistance and education objects has increased,and their personal cognition,career development,and friendship standards have become clearer.The relationship with parents has also become closer,and the ability of the case owner to use various social support has been enhanced.Finally,the author made professional reflections on the practical process of case work assistance and teaching.The author hopes that this study can provide valuable experience for the intervention of assistance and education in the case work of conditional non prosecution of minors involved in crimes,thereby promoting the development of social work in the judicial field.
