Research On The Impact Of Digital Transformation Of Industrial Enterprises On Innovation Efficiency

Industry is the lifeblood of the national economy,and Digital transformation is the power source of industrial enterprise innovation.Study its impact on innovation efficiency,boost scientific and technological innovation,and thus enhance the creativity,influence and core competitiveness of the industrial industry.This paper analyzes the specific mechanism of industrial enterprises’ Digital transformation on innovation.From the perspective of industry heterogeneity,it collects relevant indicator data of industrial enterprises in 36 industries from 2013 to 2020,uses the input-output method to measure the level of digitalization,and on this basis,it uses the entropy method to comprehensively evaluate Digital transformation,and measures the industrial comprehensive innovation efficiency index of each industry through the SBM model,Using the Malmquist index to dynamically decompose innovation efficiency values into scale efficiency,pure technological efficiency,and technological progress for specific analysis,selecting enterprise size,property structure,government support,degree of openness to the outside world,innovation atmosphere,and asset liability ratio as control variables,and constructing a theoretical model for research.The results show that:(1)in the short term,the degree of digital development in most industries is relatively low,and the transformation speed is slow,In the long run,the Digital transformation of the entire industrial enterprise has significantly improved.In the longterm and short-term comparison,it is found that with the change of years,the difference in the degree of Digital transformation between industrial industries has gradually increased.(2)The Digital transformation of the entire industrial industry has significantly promoted the improvement of innovation efficiency.The Digital transformation has a significant positive effect on technical progress and pure technical efficiency,and its effect on the change of technical progress is far less than that on the change of technical efficiency.Pure technical efficiency is the main source of improving innovation efficiency,and has significant nonlinear characteristics on scale efficiency.(3)From the perspective of industry heterogeneity,the Digital transformation index has a positive impact on the innovation efficiency of industrial enterprises in both resource intensive and labor-intensive industries.There is a nonlinear feature of digitalization on innovation in both capital intensive and technology intensive industries,and there is an obvious "inverted U-shaped" relationship in the former.
