Junior high school is an important period for the formation of outlook on life and values,and the formation of students’ aesthetic habits is particularly important at this stage.Therefore,music teaching in secondary school should be based on the cultivation goal of core literacy,spread the fixed form of traditional music teaching,optimize teaching strategies,ensure that while cultivating students’ interest in music,pay attention to students’ aesthetic education,ensure that the aesthetic sense of music is integrated into the life of junior high school students,and implement the education goal of core literacy.Due to the low quality of music education in most districts and counties in China,the development level of music education is uneven,and it only stays on the surface.Although music courses are offered,they have not played their due role and value.After the implementation of the "double reduction" policy,art has gradually become an indispensable part of students’ learning.The Curriculum Standards emphasized more than once that the combination of music and life is the ultimate goal of music education.This paper focuses on practice,bases on the curriculum,and takes the music teaching of Huiji No.1 Middle School as the specific research object,summarizes and analyzes the cultivation of core literacy in the process of music teaching in Zhengzhou junior high school,finds out its shortcomings,and then puts forward some practical improvement suggestions based on the actual situation,so as to enrich the education theory of the core literacy of music in junior high school,and further promote the development of music education in junior high school.I hope that I can provide valuable suggestions to the relevant people who have formulated the new music curriculum standards,classmates,teachers and parents to solve problems together,promote the improvement and implementation of the "people-oriented" concept of the new curriculum standards,and achieve all-round and scientific healthy development,so as to enrich the educational theory of the core music literacy of junior high school,and then promote the development of junior high school music education.
