| There has never been a clear boundary between children and nature,and it is the nature of young children to be close to nature,but at present,due to the limitations of various uncertain factors,the contact between young children and nature has been cut off,resulting in many young children suffering from “nature deficiency disorder”.In order to rebuild the close and friendly relationship between children and nature,improve children’s understanding of nature,and promote the healthy development of children’s physical and mental health,more and more kindergartens introduce natural materials into regional activities and integrate them as “material resources”,which can not only enrich regional materials,but also effectively alleviate the current problem of pseudo-rich and finished regional materials,improve the quality of regional activities,and promote the harmonious development of children’s body and mind.Through reviewing the literature,it is found that researchers mostly focus their research perspective on the development and application of natural materials in kindergartens,and the unique advantages and important value of natural materials to young children are being explored by early childhood educators.Luoyang B Kindergarten takes Chen Heqin’s "living education" thought as the theoretical guidance,and draws on the German forest nature education curriculum concept,and establishes a nature education base,so that children can feel and contact nature more truly,and integrate natural materials into all aspects of the kindergarten,accumulating rich experience and having a certain representative in the local area.Based on this,this paper focuses on the application of natural materials in the regional activities of Kindergarten B.This study mainly consists of three parts.The first part demonstrates the application value of natural materials and their important role in early childhood development,and at the same time reviews the literature of natural materials and regional activities,sorts out their development process,and discusses their ideological essence,which points out the research direction of this study.The second part sorts out the research ideas,uses interviews,observations,participation activities and other ways to obtain research materials,and sorts out the application and exploration process of natural materials in the regional activities of kindergarten B.The third part describes the application status of natural materials in regional activities from the two levels of teachers and children and analyzes their influencing factors,so as to summarize the following experiences: the implementation of the concept of green kindergarten and the high integration rate of natural materials courses;Regular natural art courses,improved quality of regional activities;The forms of regional activities have been enriched and the professional concept of education has been strengthened.However,at the same time,it is also found that kindergarten B has problems in the use of natural materials: such as unclear classification and uneven regional application;The spatial arrangement of natural materials is similar,ignoring the characteristics of agestage;The special training on natural materials is not in-depth,and the level of teacher guidance varies greatly;There is a lack of reflection in the evaluation of regional activities,and there are problems such as room for improvement.This paper attempts to propose a practical strategy for the application of natural materials in regional activities in kindergarten B by analyzing the problems and combining literature and previous research. |
