| With the beginning of a new round of curriculum reform,the important role of reading has been more and more realized by teachers and experts.However,as the whole book reading teaching is still in the initial exploration stage,there is no systematic and mature theory,many teachers encounter different practical problems in the implementation of the whole book reading teaching,which leads to the whole book reading teaching does not play the actual teaching effect.This study firstly makes an in-depth exploration of the connotation of "whole book reading teaching",and then studies the implementation of the whole book reading teaching in three schools in Pingdu City by using the method of literature analysis,case study and interview based on constructivism and the theory of proximal development,combined with the relevant theories of reading science.The research found that the main problems are as follows.First of all,the teacher’s understanding of the whole book reading teaching is relatively simple;Secondly,teachers’ determination of the teaching objectives of reading the whole book is not clear enough.Then,teachers ignore the actual needs of students in the selection of reading books;Finally,the reading teaching evaluation method of the whole book is too simple;Through research and analysis,the reasons for the above problems are mainly as follows.First of all,the teacher’s analysis of learning situation is insufficient when reading the whole book.Secondly,schools and teachers do not pay enough attention to the teaching of reading the whole book.Finally,teachers’ evaluation concept is relatively backward and evaluation is only a formality.Accordingly,this study puts forward some suggestions on the improvement of the whole book reading teaching of Chinese in primary school:stimulate students’ interest in reading as much as possible;Scientific design of the whole book reading teaching objectives;Reasonably organize the whole book reading teaching process;Actively create a good reading atmosphere for the whole book and carry out the whole book reading teaching evaluation. |
