Research On The Operation Efficiency Of China’s NEEQ Sports Enterprises Based On DEA Model

China’s sports industry is still in the stage of extensive development,and the number of small and medium-sized sports enterprises accounts for a large proportion,which has become the main body of the sports market.The operating conditions of small and medium-sized sports enterprises directly affect the development of sports industry.Therefore,exploring the operating conditions of small and medium-sized sports enterprises and improving operating efficiency are the key links to promote the high-quality development of sports industry.This paper chooses the sports enterprises listed on the NEEQ as the research object,and uses DEA model to measure the relative efficiency of the operating efficiency of the sports enterprises in the NEEQ.In order to ensure the accuracy and comparability of the measurement results and highlight the connotation of relative efficiency,this paper selects the financial data of 40 sports industry listed companies in A shares,Hong Kong stocks and NEEQ from 2017 to2021 as the overall research sample,uses DEAP2.1 software to measure the relative efficiency of the panel data,and extracts 22 NEEQ sports enterprises for key analysis.The analysis process includes: firstly,the static efficiency evaluation of NEEQ sports enterprises is realized by using traditional DEA model,and the efficiency of NEEQ sports enterprises is classified by gradient through DEA cycle measurement analysis;Finally,Malmquist Index is used to analyze the dynamic efficiency of sports enterprises in the NEEQ.The measurement results show that,in terms of static efficiency of enterprises,the average comprehensive technical efficiency of sports listed enterprises on the NEEQ is low,and the number of effective enterprises is small.The comprehensive technical efficiency of sports enterprises in A-share and Hong Kong stock markets is higher than that of sports listed companies as a whole.The low comprehensive technical efficiency of sports enterprises listed on the NEEQ is mainly caused by the low level of pure technical efficiency.In terms of enterprise returns to scale,most of the sports enterprises in the NEEQ are in the stage of increasing and fluctuating returns to scale,which is compatible with the development stage of initial stage and growth stage.In terms of enterprise efficiency gradient,except for 2021,more than 30% of the NEEQ sports enterprises entered the first echelon of efficiency in other years,and the overall performance was acceptable,but the stability of operating efficiency was poor;In 2021,the number of NEEQ sports enterprises entering the first echelon of efficiency decreased by 36.4% year-on-year,indicating that their ability to resist risks was weak,mainly affected by factors such as less internal capital accumulation,low brand value and weak internal control of SMEs;Among the fourth echelon with the worst efficiency,the NEEQ enterprises account for the majority,and there are many extreme cases of poor operating efficiency.From the perspective of dynamic efficiency,the total factor productivity of sports enterprises in the NEEQ showed a fluctuating downward trend from 2017 to 2021.Observing its decomposition items,the decline of technological progress index was the main reason for the decline of total factor productivity,followed by the change of pure technical efficiency index.It shows that the technological innovation of sports enterprises in the NEEQ is insufficient,and the management level is low and unstable.For the sports enterprises of the NEEQ,the improvement of pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency can offset the decline of operating efficiency caused by insufficient technological progress to a certain extent.In view of the problems existing in the measurement analysis of sports enterprises listed on the NEEQ,this paper suggests: improving the pure technical efficiency of enterprises by perfecting internal control and strengthening institutional management,and then improving the comprehensive technical efficiency level of enterprises;By strengthening brand building,enhancing brand relevance,and exploring the way of market segmentation and business diversification,we will enhance the anti-risk ability and operational stability of sports enterprises listed on the NEEQ;By strengthening technological innovation and deepening school-enterprise cooperation,we can strengthen the technological innovation ability of enterprises,improve the technological progress index of sports enterprises listed on the NEEQ,and then improve the total factor productivity and operating efficiency of enterprises.With a view to improving the operating efficiency of sports enterprises in the NEEQ and promoting the high-quality development of small and medium-sized sports enterprises through the above measures.
