The Expression Of Patriotic Discourse And National Identity Construction Of Large-scale Sports Events In The New Era

With the rapid development of Internet technology,information exchange has become faster and faster.In the face of the new situation,the country needs to constantly promote the integration of different regions and ethnic groups to enhance national cohesion.national identity plays an increasingly important role.Cross regional and large-scale high-level sports events have become the focus of international exchanges.In this context,patriotic discourse plays an important role in national identity.The Tokyo Olympics,Beijing Winter Olympics,Qatar World Cup,and other large-scale sports events held in 2021 and 2022,among which the public gathered online to construct interactive ceremonies,and the results of the ceremonies were of great political significance.In order to explore the role of patriotic discourse expression in promoting national identity during large-scale sports events,this study uses qualitative research methods and NVivo12 Plus software to analyze the people’s daily We Chat official account,official microblog comment area messages,real-time microblog and topics and other open discussions.The study found that the patriotic discourse expression of large-scale sports events has a positive effect on the construction of national identity.With the help of microblog,We Chat and other media fields,groups create interactive rituals,making patriotic discourse in micro space a ritual language,thus promoting the generation of the "national" symbol,collective identity,national identity psychological mechanism of ritual results.Such ritual results can break through the network boundaries and extend to the real society,thus strengthening patriotic feelings,national identity,value emotions,history and culture National reality and other aspects jointly build national identity.At the same time,we need to clearly recognize the reality of the construction of national identity through patriotic discourse expression in large-scale sports events.The social environment of the new era puts forward new ideas,new directions,new requirements and new challenges for the construction of identity.At the same time,the connotation of patriotic discourse expression needs to be sublimated,the content needs to be enriched,the way needs to be innovated,and the platform needs to be supervised.Based on the above situation,corresponding countermeasures are proposed: to enhance the innovation and timeliness of patriotic discourse expression in large-scale sports events,strengthen the diversity and constraints of patriotic discourse expression in large-scale sports events,actively create an interactive atmosphere for patriotic discourse expression in large-scale sports events,and enhance the awareness of media construction on patriotic discourse expression platforms in large-scale sports events;In view of the shortcomings,suggestions are put forward: pay attention to the guiding role of national symbols,the joint role of emotional memory,the inspiring role of cultural symbols,and the supporting role of competition public opinion in the construction of national identity in the patriotic discourse expression of large-scale sports events.
