| In recent years,the media has continuously reported the news cases of youth injury,self-injury,suicide and so on,causing widespread social concern.Youth life education has become a social hot issue,especially the "Hu Xinyu case" from the end of 2022 to the beginning of 2023,which has become the focus of national attention.The school classroom is the main position for teenagers to receive education,and life education should also become an important part of school education.The junior middle school stage is an important stage for the formation of students’ outlook on life and values,and a key period for carrying out life education.Due to the characteristics and advantages of the subject,biology curriculum in junior middle school contains a large number of life-related content and materials,which will become the joint point of infiltrating life education in teaching.This study explores the strategy of integrating life education into junior middle school biology teaching through literature research,classroom observation,questionnaire survey,interview,and experience summary methods,combining theory and practice.Based on literature research,researchers have summarized the research overview of life education both domestically and internationally,as well as Marx’s theory of comprehensive human development,humanistic theory,existentialist theory,and the philosophical theory of life education in traditional Chinese culture.On this basis,combined with the requirements of the junior middle school curriculum standards,a survey was conducted using classroom observation,questionnaire survey,and interview methods to investigate the current situation of integrating life education into junior middle school biology teaching.A large amount of collected questionnaire data and interview materials were statistically organized and analyzed.Through interviews with teachers,it was found that teachers generally lack the correct concept of life education,have cognitive biases in life education,and lack awareness and ability to develop and utilize life education resources.Based on the results of the questionnaire survey and analysis of student interviews,it was found that most middle school students have the following problems:lack of correct life cognition,and inadequate grasp of basic life knowledge;Lack of timely psychological counseling and weak willpower;Lack of rich practical exercise in daily life,theory detached from reality;Lack of guidance during adolescence and insufficient ability to regulate emotions.In response to the above issues,researchers have proposed corresponding solutions,mainly including two aspects: teachers and students.To enhance the comprehensive quality of life education for teachers,the following two points should be noted: firstly,to establish the concept of life education and master necessary knowledge of life education;Secondly,it is necessary to enhance the awareness and ability to develop life education resources.In order to enhance students’ awareness of life,make them love life,respect life,and revere life,educational activities can be carried out from the following four aspects: firstly,to understand the beauty of life in the biology classroom and establish a correct understanding of life;Secondly,understanding the strength of life in biological experiments and cultivating firm willpower;Thirdly,in practical activities,care for the light of life and enhance its true life experience;Fourthly,protect the flower of life in students’ lives and care for their adolescent development.In order to further improve China’s life education and enable it to truly take root in the school education system,promoting the healthy growth of students,researchers have also put forward the following suggestions: combining educational and teaching activities with practical life,carry out various life education activities;Reform the education evaluation mechanism and increase the content of life education evaluation;Schools attach importance to students’ mental health and establish a psychological counseling system;Enhance parents’ awareness of life education and strengthen family life education;The whole society attaches great importance to life education,and all departments strengthen the guarantee of life education. |
