The new curriculum reform provides the support for traditional culture to enter the art classroom,and at the same time,the new standard points out that emphasis should be placed on strengthening the education of excellent Chinese traditional culture.As a carrier of visual images of Chinese folk culture,Chinese folk art is a form of art developed through the creation of working people,historical accumulation and continuous inheritance,with its long history,rich variety of subjects and sincere national emotions,and has inestimable value.As intangible cultural heritage of the leaf carving in Shangchen,Xinyang,with the characteristics of paper cutting,micro carving,printmaking and other art,is a distinct style of folk art,contains a lot of art subject knowledge.In recent years,most studies have been conducted on the cultural connotations and artistic forms of the leaf carvings,but few studies have been conducted on adding them to junior high school art classrooms as a curriculum resource.The introduction of the leaf carving as a high-quality art resource into the teaching practice of the middle school art classroom is a supplement to the art curriculum resources as well as the inheritance and protection of the leaf carving.Centering on the exploration of teaching practice of characteristic leaf carving art resources in middle school art class in Xinyang area,combined with the teaching requirements of art curriculum standards,the classroom teaching practice objects are selected from middle school students.First of all,through the literature research method,field investigation method,from the general situation of the leaf carving to explore the artistic value of the it.Secondly,questionnaire survey and interview method are used to analyze and summarize the current situation of folk art in junior middle school classrooms,investigate students’ attitude and expectation of learning leaf carving,understand the attitude and suggestions of junior middle school art teachers in Xinyang area for adding leaf carving into classroom-teaching,and summarize the existing problems.It further analyzes the teaching value and feasibility of Xinyang leaf carving entering middle school art class,and explores the connection between leaf carving and middle school art education.Thirdly,through the above analysis and discussion,from the formulation of teaching principles,design of classroom teaching objectives,organization of classroom teaching content,selection of classroom teaching methods,the use of diversified teaching evaluation of five aspects to explore the application of mall leaf carving in junior high school art teaching practice.Classroom teaching practices are carried out with basic knowledge theme,techniques and crafts theme,creative design theme and practical application theme teaching cases.Finally,through the teaching practice effect analysis of teaching practice reflection,and in view of the existing problems put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.In the process of teaching practice,with a more distinct,more three-dimensional way to cultivate students’ interests in excellent traditional culture concept,to promote the development of characteristic art class,aimed at exploring the leaf carving in Xinyang area middle school art class practice methods,and to improve the core quality of students and to enrich art curriculum resources,so that the folk art treasure of leaf carving could be protected and inherited.
