With the deepening of the construction of a socialist country under the rule of law,the Party and the state attach great importance to the education of the rule of law for young people,which has become an objective requirement for cultivating qualified socialist citizens.At the same time,the proposal of "integrated of ideological and political theory courses in universities,middle schools and primary schools" has expanded a new path for the integration of rule of law education into the national education system.Middle school students are currently in the "jointing and booting stage" of their lives,and it is of great significance to provide the integration of rule of law education for students in this stage.Therefore,this study is grounded on the two stages of junior and senior high school,considering rule of law education as the main line and deeming ideological and political teaching practice as the basis.It deeply analyzes the shortcomings and causes of the integration construction of rule of law education,and actively explores the practical path for the construction of rule of law education integration.In addition to the introduction,this article includes three parts:The first part is an overview of the integration of rule of law education in ideological and political courses in junior and senior high schools.This section elaborates the relevant concepts,theoretical foundations,and practical significance,laying a solid foundation for the multi-dimensional development of this study.The second part is an analysis of the current situation of the integration of rule of law education in ideological and political courses in junior and senior high schools.Through text analysis and interview,it was found that under the guidance of the "Outline of Youth Rule of Law Education",the current content of rule of law education,overall,is connected in an orderly and progressive manner,and its teaching methods are diverse and effective.However,there are still certain problems.The rule of law education is lack of cohesion due to the inconsistent revision pace of curriculum standards;the goal of rule of law education lacks relevance and hierarchy;the coherence and pertinence of rule of law education methods need to be strengthened;the evaluation method of rule of law education lacks unified standards,etc.Among them,the main factors restricting the integration of rule of law education in junior and senior high school ideological and political courses involve the repetition,fragmentation,disconnection as well as inversion in some rule of law education contents,and the lack of awareness of the integration of rule of law education among teachers.The third part is the practical path for the integration of rule of law education in ideological and political courses in junior and senior high schools.Based on the six dimensional issues identified in the current situation analysis,this section proposes six practical paths to promote the integration of rule of law education in ideological and political courses in junior and senior high schools,including making an overall plan for curriculum standards in ideological and political courses in junior and senior high schools,constructing an objective system for the integration of rule of law education,coordinating and promoting the integrated construction of teacher team in rule of law education;connecting the contents of rule of law education in ideological and political courses in junior and senior high schools;collaborative innovation and integrated construction of legal education methods;establishing and improving an integrated evaluation mechanism for rule of law education.
