The report of the 20th Party Congress points out that the family is the cornerstone of national development,national progress and social harmony.The quality of family education is related to the overall development of children and social harmony.As the first responsible person for family education,parents in the compulsory education stage,whose scientific educational philosophy and rational actions ultimately point to the bright future of their children and the balance of the educational ecology.In the new era of "double reduction" education,the education anxiety of parents in the compulsory education stage has become an important issue in the current society.While the policy of reducing the burden relieves parents’ educational anxiety,it also breeds and catalyzes parents’ hidden anxiety.Parents from different social classes are involved in educational competition and games in order to realize the demand for upward mobility or intergenerational advantage transfer.With the superposition of traditional solidified educational anxiety and new anxiety "symptoms",parents’ educational anxiety in compulsory education gradually comes to the fore.This study combines social stratification theory and cultural reproduction theory,draws a realistic portrait of parents’ educational anxiety at the compulsory education stage from the perspective of sociology of education,examines the influencing factors and current situation of parents’ educational anxiety at the compulsory education stage,explores the generation logic of parents’ educational anxiety at the compulsory education stage,and provides new ideas and possibilities to alleviate parents’ educational anxiety at the compulsory education stage and activate the internal life force of the collaborative education mechanism of the family-school-society.Through the theoretical interpretation of parents’ educational anxiety in compulsory education,we clarify the connotation of parents’ educational anxiety in compulsory education,and explore the structural characteristics of the process of breeding,growing and spreading of parents’ educational anxiety in compulsory education.It is mainly manifested as the prominent competitive anxiety of "not to lose at the starting line",the accumulation of social class educational resource anxiety,the hidden concern of education anxiety and education quality,the need for off-campus training and the inertia of anxiety still exist.Under the guidance of educational competition preference,irrational educational anxiety and behavior practice of parents in compulsory education stage show significant negative effects.From the perspective of external communication,it promotes bad social atmosphere and aggravates the lack of educational justice.From the perspective of internal orientation,family education becomes internal,and children’s physical and mental development crisis appears;From the perspective of education ecological crisis,the ecological imbalance of education system and the solidification of class gradually emerged.Based on this,the questionnaire "Survey on the Current Situation of Education Anxiety among Parents in Compulsory Education" was developed,and 496 parents in compulsory education were used as respondents to reveal the reality of education anxiety among parents in compulsory education in five dimensions: future development,academic achievement,education concept,external environment,and education investment.According to the results of the questionnaire and interview survey,educational anxiety among parents in the compulsory education stage is widespread,and some parents’ educational anxiety level is above moderate,and there are heterogeneous characteristics in the dimensions of age,education level,occupation,annual income,and children’s stage,etc.In addition,parents in the compulsory education stage present different levels of anxiety in different dimensions.Taking social stratification theory and cultural reproduction theory as the theoretical fulcrums and combining the content and results of in-depth interviews with some parents,we explore the mechanisms of parents’ educational anxiety in compulsory education.Fundamentally,the "symptoms" of parents’ educational anxiety in compulsory education mainly stem from the demand for intergenerational mobility of social stratification,the acceleration of intergenerational transfer of family advantages by cultural reproduction,the fierce competition for horizontal resources in schools and the "increase" of vertical burden reduction campaigns,this has become a "booster" and "gas pedal" for the growth and circulation of parents’ educational anxiety at the compulsory education stage.Therefore,based on the interlocking and overlapping nature of parents’ educational anxiety at the compulsory education stage,it is necessary to propose ideas and suggestions to alleviate parents’ educational anxiety at the compulsory education stage,on the one hand,to strengthen the compensation mechanism for specific parent groups and improve policy support facilities,on the other hand,to strengthen the coordination of resources inside and outside the school led by the school to achieve optimal resource supply;from the individual level of parents at the compulsory education stage,we should correct parents’ position on education,strengthen the correction of professional education concepts,establish correct education concepts and expectations,and form a harmonious and loving family atmosphere;at the level of parents in compulsory education,we should construct a parental guidance service system and expand the coverage of the audience group of family guidance service;at the level of home-school-society collaboration,we should build a tripartite mechanism of home-school-society collaboration and improve parents’ information literacy;at the level of regulating out-of-school education institutions,we should at the level of regulating out-of-school education institutions,we need to adhere to the regulatory standard of "lenient entry and strict exit",establish a collaborative education community inside and outside schools,and achieve effective relief of parents’ education anxiety at the compulsory education stage.
