The Investigation On The Parents' Satisfaction With The School In Compulsory Education Stage

Parents' satisfaction with school is an important basis for evaluating education quality and management level and school construction and reform.In compulsory education stage,many parents choose the school for their children according to parent satisfaction.The paper bases on the questionnaire research,studying the parents' satisfaction with education environment,education quality,education fairness and education management.Facing the parents in Anhui Province,recycle effective questionnaire 886,then analyze the data using SPSS17.0,the conclusion is: The parents' overall satisfaction is higher,but there are some differences in different dimensions.The urban parent satisfaction is higher in education fairness and education management than the rural parents'.The people whose children are in Grade two and six are more satisfied with education environment than that of other grades,but their satisfaction with education management is lower.The father's satisfaction is more satisfied with education management than the mother and other guardians of the child,the mother's satisfaction is more satisfied with the quality.The civil servant is less satisfied with education fairness than the parents with other occupations.Satisfaction of parents with college degree on the quality of education is higher than other parents;the higher the degree,the lower the satisfaction of education fairness.The reasons for the lower level of satisfaction are: inadequate policy implementation supervision,incomplete evaluation system of education,unbalanced resource allocation,and poor family-school cooperation.Therefore,four suggestions are : First,strengthen the government function to improve the education environment;Second,improve education evaluation system to improve education quality;Third,accelerate the balanced development of education to promote the fairness;Fourth,advocate school-family collaboration to improve education effectiveness.
