In recent years,with the continuous promotion of quality education in China,aesthetic education has become an important element in the training of talents in schools.Promoting aesthetic education in colleges and universities can make college students develop comprehensively and healthily.As an important carrier to improve campus aesthetic education,college art student associations can provide opportunities and platforms for the development of aesthetic education in colleges and universities.Thus,in promoting the construction of aesthetic education in colleges and universities,,the study of the aesthetic education function of art student associations in colleges and universities is particularly important.However,aesthetic education is still in a weak position in college education.In view of this,this paper uses literature research method,questionnaire survey method and interview method to investigate and analyze the realization of aesthetic education function of art student associations in four colleges and universities in Jilin Province,and puts forward suggestions through searching relevant literature and policy documents to guarantee the achievement of aesthetic education function of art student associations in universities.This paper deals with the following five sections:The first part introduces the background and significance of the article selection,the current status of the research and the research methodology.The second part provides a definition of the connotation and function of aesthetic education and the concept of art student associations in higher education.,explains the connection between art student associations and aesthetic education function,and summarizes the aesthetic education function of art student associations in colleges and universities into explicit function and recessive function.The difference between the two lies in whether the effect of aesthetic education activities is direct or indirect.In the third part,the author found,through questionnaires and interviews,the current status of the realization of the aesthetic education function of art student associations in universities in terms of management subjects,management objects,activity forms,teachers and aesthetic education courses.The emergence of these problems is closely linked to the uneven development of education,the lack of attention by universities,the lack of educational content,the lack of investment in the environment and the inadequate curriculum.The fourth part analyzes the process of realizing the aesthetic education function of college art student associations,expounds the operating mechanism of the process of realizing the aesthetic education function,and emphasizes the four principles to be followed in realizing the aesthetic education function of college art student associations.The fifth part,based on theoretical research and practical investigation,puts forward the path to achievement the aesthetic education function of college art student associations from four perspectives: change the management subject’s leading concept,strengthen the organization guarantee;Strengthen the development of management targets and raise the level of awareness practice;Optimising the allocation of resources for societies and improving the standard of provision;Improving management content to promote the function of aesthetic education.Through the above paths,the aesthetic education function of art student associations in colleges and universities can be realized,so that schools and teachers can pay attention to aesthetic education training,students value aesthetic quality enhancement,and students can become well-developed talents.
