"Quanwen Reading" is a new teaching method produced under the background of Chinese reform and quality education,which has the characteristics of value and creativity.This teaching method has played a significant role in cultivating students’ interest in poetry reading,improving the level of poetry teaching,and inheriting excellent traditional culture.Therefore,this paper takes the teaching of ancient poetry in high school as the research object,and starts from the perspective of the "group reading" teaching method,in order to analyze the specific application of this teaching method in the teaching of ancient poetry in high school,hoping to help the teaching level of ancient poetry in high school.It is helpful to improve and cultivate the core literacy of students’ language.This study uses the method of literature analysis to sort out the research literature at home and abroad on the application of group reading method to the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high schools,and determines that the intertextuality theory,constructivism theory,and knowledge transfer theory are the theoretical basis for the study,and focuses on the appropriateness of the teaching method of "group reading" in the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high schools.Through a questionnaire survey,this paper summarizes the problems and causes of the current teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school,and finds the differences between the conventional teaching of ancient poetry and the group reading teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school through case analysis,and then develops a specific application strategy of the group reading method in the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school.Through the comparative analysis of specific cases,the study found the differences between the two teaching methods in teaching philosophy,teaching objectives,teaching process,teaching methods,and reading ability improvement,highlighting the advantages of the group reading teaching method applied to the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school.Through this study,it is found that the teaching method of "group reading" in the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school is in line with the psychological development characteristics of senior high school students and the stylistic characteristics of ancient poetry,which can promote the return of the essence of reading appreciation in the Chinese classroom,cultivate the core literacy of the Chinese discipline,and implement the Chinese learning task group.At the same time,it has positive significance for students,teachers,and teaching resources.When the teaching method of "group reading" is applied to the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school,topics can be set according to different sources and types,and strategies such as selecting texts with the same theme,the same author,the same era,and the same theme can be adopted when selecting texts.At the stage of collective construction,students should be guided to self-construct,create a good classroom atmosphere,and reach consensus through collective construction.The practical exploration of the reading of ancient poems and phrases in groups is always on the way.The theory of the reading of ancient poems and phrases in groups needs to be constantly improved.In addition,the practical effect of the application of the reading strategies in groups needs to be repeatedly tested.
