Life and Philosophy is a module which is more theoretical in high school Ideological and Political Course but it also is filled with vitality.In traditional teaching,teachers always teach in a dull and ineffective way.In terms of theoretical knowledge,they use a theory to explain another theory,ignoring the process of acquiring knowledge from life.It causes many problems like little interaction between students and teachers.To deal with it,fit in with the trend of new curriculum reform,and improve the timeliness of teaching,the article explores current problems of Life and Philosophy Teaching based on life and offers some opinions and suggestions based on the situation of high school in Guanghan,Sichuan,taking Life and Philosophy module as an example.The article studies Life and Philosophy Teaching based on life through literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and observation method.The Introduction part mainly includes research background,research significance,literature review,research idea,research approaches,focal and difficult points and innovative points.Besides,the Body part consists of three chapters.Chapter one briefly introduces relevant theories of Life and Philosophy Teaching based on life in high school,which includes the connotation of Life and Philosophy Teaching based on life and its theoretical foundation,such as epistemology of dialectical materialism,human beings’ all-round development theory and life education theory.What’s more,this part also states the significance of teaching based on life.Chapter two analyses the achievements,existing problems and reasons of Life and Philosophy Teaching based on life,taking high school teaching in Guanghan as an example.Through a questionnaire survey,we have gained an understanding of the current achievements of the practical teaching of "Life and Philosophy" in senior high schools in Guanghan City.We have further analyzed the problems existing in the practical teaching of "Life and Philosophy" in senior high schools,mainly including teachers equating the use of life materials with practical teaching,excessive emphasis on the form of practical teaching during the teaching process,low enthusiasm of most students for actively participating in practical teaching activities,and lack of relevant theoretical and practical guidance.Finally,the author concludes three main reasons for these problems.For example,the teachers’ ability of carrying out life-based teaching is not enough and students are restricted by their living experience,thus making it hard for them to combine theories with practice.In addition,schools pay little attention to life-based teaching.Chapter three presents some related measures to improve Life and Philosophy Teaching based on life in high school based on the author’s teaching experience.These measures include knowing the essence of life-based teaching and establishing a correct concept of life-based teaching,improving the ability of life-based teaching and constructing the whole process of it,setting situations in practice and enriching students’ living experience,and optimizing Life-oriented Teaching evaluation and creating a school culture based on life.
