The life-oriented ideological and political education not only shows its real value,but also demonstrates the vitality of ideological and political education.Ideological and political classes are the main fronts of ideological and political education for senior high school students.It is not only a theoretical issue but a practical one about how to change the rigid force-feeding method of teaching theories in traditional ideological and political classes and achieve the goal of moral education by exerting an invisible and formative influence on students.In recent years,many teachers'active probe on life-oriented ideological and political education and improvement on their ways of thinking and teaching have produced the desired result.For one thing,students can grasp the basic theoretical knowledge in class more easily;for another,they can put these theories into daily practice positively,which symbolizes the success of the emphasis on teaching practice and life-oriented teaching for teachers.It is the irresistible general trend to develop life-oriented education for educational reform,which has worked effectively.However,in senior high schools of China,the current teaching situation of life-oriented ideological and political education is still not optimistic because of restrictions of a series of realistic conditions.Therefore,it is very significant for both theory and practice to analyze the existing problems and reasons so that corresponding countermeasures can be put forward.First of all,the paper expounds the connotation,features and necessity of the life-oriented teaching of the ideological and political classes in senior high schools.Secondly,it analyzes the present achievements of the life-oriented teaching of the ideological and political classes in senior high schools based on investigations and interviews,for example,life-oriented teaching method is now adopted in most classroom-teaching of Life and Philosophy,which leads to a higher degree of recognition of many teachers and students both emotionally and mentally.Then,it points out some outstanding problems in Life and Philosophy classes at the same time,such as stiff life-oriented teaching,lack of students-centered teaching,single teaching method of teachers,the low effective classes,judging the performance of students and teachers only by exams and so on.These problems mainly come from the unchanged teaching method centered on "teaching",teachers' insufficient ability in life-oriented teaching,students'incorrect attitude towards Life and Philosophy,the one-sided evaluation mechanism of teachers under the college entrance examination and the disjunction between the content of Life and Philosophy and real life.Finally,aiming at the above-mentioned problems and causes of life-oriented teaching on Life and Philosophy,the paper presents some relevant optimization strategies from following five aspects:setting the life-oriented teaching objectives,selecting the life-oriented teaching contents,implementing the life-oriented teaching methods,constructing the life-oriented teaching evaluation mechanism and improving the teachers' ability of life-oriented teaching.
