| With the popularization of higher education,China’s university personnel training program continues to reform.Chinese universities have carried out the reform of the modern colleges on the basis of drawing lessons from traditional Chinese colleges and Western residential colleges.Modern colleges have been established in succession and gradually become an important part of personnel training in colleges and universities.However,there are some obstacles in its development,and the "isolated island" problem is the most obvious one.It is urgent to solve the "isolated island" problem in the development of modern colleges because it is an important reform of talent cultivation in colleges and universities.This study mainly uses case study and interview methods to explores the " isolated island " problem in the development of modern university academies from the perspective of synergetic symbiosis theory.The paper theoretically explores the development and typical characteristics of modern colleges in China,and comprehensively and systematically investigates and analyzes the current situation of the " isolated island " problem in modern colleges in China.It deeply analyzes the reasons behind the emergence of the " isolated island " problem in modern colleges,and on this basis,explores strategies for breaking through the " isolated island " problem in modern colleges in China.Through case analysis and investigation of Z University’s modern colleges,it was found that the problem of " isolated island " in modern colleges is significant and cannot achieve the goal of high-quality development.From the perspective of collaborative symbiosis theory,modern colleges mainly lack unity in educational concepts,educational functions,governance subjects,and other aspects.There is insufficient synergy between academies and colleges,teachers and students,and various resources,and there is no consensus on culture,cognition,perception,etc.,resulting in modern university academies becoming "scene islands","process islands",and "spiritual islands".Based on the theory of collaborative symbiosis,a solution has been proposed to address the problem of "isolated island" in modern colleges in China.The solution is to design scenarios for collaborative symbiosis of academies through integrated educational concepts,clear subject positioning,and comprehensive functions of academies.Furthermore,it promotes division of labor and cooperation between the two academies,rational allocation of resources,strengthening communication and exchange between teachers and students,dispelling students’ loneliness in an active cultural atmosphere,and continuously enhancing the spirit of collaborative symbiosis of colleges,To achieve the long-term development of talent cultivation in modern colleges in China. |
