Folklore is the root of a national culture and an important part of it.The long history and splendid culture of the Chinese nation contain rich folk cultural resources.Material life folk culture is an important part of folk culture,a variety of material folk events constructed by human beings in daily life,a microcosm of society in different periods,and a profound connotation of material civilization that humans depend on and feels in daily life.therefore,students in the basic education stage especially need to know and learn about material life folk culture.As for the junior high school stage,material life folk culture is extensively integrated into Chinese language textbooks,which is helpful in assisting students to understand the ways of life and cultural heritage of different ethnic groups and regions This helps to understand the lifestyles and cultural heritage of different ethnic groups and regions.On the other hand,through teaching,students can accurately grasp the connotation behind the material life folk culture which serves as the national spirit internalized by students and also plays an important role in the protection of folk culture.Under the guidance of the teaching materials and curriculum standards on which the new curriculum reform is based,the teaching strategies of material life and folk culture in junior high school Chinese textbooks are studied and discussed,based on the unified compilation of junior high school Chinese textbooks.The introduction part reviews the origin and significance of research,research status and research methods.The first chapter defines the concept of material life folk culture,pointing out that material life folk culture is a custom that reflects people’s daily life;It also discusses the necessity of teaching material life and folk culture in junior high school Chinese textbooks.The second chapter categorizes,sorts out and analyzes the content presentation characteristics of material life and folk culture in junior high school Chinese textbooks in the form of tables: fragmentation,concentration,permeability,inheritance and practice.The third chapter conducts a questionnaire survey on relevant teachers and students of the school where the internship is located,and on this basis,the problems existing in the teaching of material life and folk culture are analyzed,which are mainly manifested in the shortcomings of teachers and students in the accumulation of material life and folk culture,and the lack of combination of material life folk culture and relatively effective teaching methods among teachers.The fourth chapter puts forward corresponding teaching strategies according to the current situation and existing problems of material life folk culture teaching: First,teachers change their own concepts,improve the teaching level of material life folk culture,establish the idea of lifelong learning with the development of the times,and enhance the heritage of material life folk culture;Second,it is necessary to strengthen guidance and deepen students’ understanding of material life and folk culture,dig deep into the material life folk culture in the teaching materials,and teach targetedly according to the different characteristics of the selected texts;Third,teachers should carry out material life folk culture activities outside the classroom,and combine Chinese teaching inside and outside the classroom through material life folk culture knowledge competitions and study trips organized by the school,so as to enhance students’ material life and folk culture heritage.
