| It is the fundamental task of education in China to cultivate people by virtue.In recent years,the Ministry of Education has issued documents such as Opinions of the Ministry of Education on Comprehensively Deepening Curriculum Reform and Implementing the Fundamental Task of promoting Moral Education to cultivate People,Curriculum Plan of Compulsory Education(2022 edition),Curriculum Standards of Compulsory Education Mathematics(2022 edition),etc.,which have stated that the fundamental task of promoting moral education to cultivate people should be implemented.At the same time,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly stressed the need to adhere to moral education and promote educational reform,and pointed out that adolescence is particularly important.In addition to morality and rule of law courses,ideological and political elements can also be incorporated into the teaching of other subjects to infiltrate ideological and political education.As one of the basic courses in junior high school,it is of great significance to integrate ideological and political elements into mathematics teaching to promote students’ all-round development.Junior high school is an important period for the development of students’ personality.Integrating ideological and political education into mathematics teaching is conducive to cultivating students’ strong interest in learning and stimulating their enthusiasm for learning mathematics well.The quadratic equation with one variable is an important content of junior high school mathematics,which contains rich mathematical culture and history.By deeply excavating the ideological and political elements in the quadratic equation with one variable and integrating them into the teaching,it is beneficial to improve students’ ideological and cognitive level,thus forming a correct outlook on life,world outlook and values.By referring to relevant literature,this study establishes a curriculum ideological and political model that includes four dimensions: dialectical materialism education,patriotism and socialism education,scientific and humanistic quality education and good personality quality education,and compiles student questionnaire,student pre-test paper,student post-test paper and teacher interview outline as research tools.The questionnaire and the pre-test paper are conducted among junior three students to understand their understanding and attitude towards curriculum ideological and political education and their current level of mathematics knowledge.The Interview is conducted with front-line junior middle school mathematics teachers to understand the current situation and existing problems of practicing curriculum ideology and politics in junior middle school mathematics teaching.The post-test paper is distributed to students to compare their changes in mathematics knowledge level,learning attitude and learning interest.The results show that students’ learning enthusiasm is significantly improved and their scores in the post-test increase after ideological and political elements are incorporated into the teaching process.According to the research results,this paper puts forward some teaching suggestions on practicing curriculum ideology and politics in junior high school mathematics teaching.First,teachers should enrich ideological and political exchanges and enhance their awareness of ideological and political education.Second,teachers should formulate educational goals and share the achievements of ideological and political construction of disciplines.Third,teachers should innovate the teaching mode and infiltrate the ideological and political elements in the mathematics curriculum.Fourth,schools should carry forward the excellent culture and create an ideological and political learning environment for the whole people.Fifth,schools should refine the assessment methods and implement scientific qualitative and quantitative fusion evaluation. |
