Under the background of lifelong education,education is no longer limited to school education,but extends to many outside institutions,and runs through each stage of personal growth.Because of the commonality between the museum and the school in education,the Embassy and the school can establish a cooperative relationship to help students’ education and lifelong growth.Therefore,the cooperation between the museum and the school has been increasingly paid attention by the academic circles at home and abroad.The continuous deepening of China’s education reform is calling for students to go out of the classroom and out of the campus to achieve the educational goal of all-round development in a broader space.The rich educational resources,open learning space and diverse teaching methods in the museum make them an important off-campus place for the realization of the goal of all-round education.The combination of school education and museum education promotes the cooperation between the museum and schools.To promote the all-round development of students has become the consensus of the society.From the existing research,it can be seen that the cooperation between museums and schools in China is still in its infancy,and there is a large space for theoretical research.From the practice of the cooperation between museums and schools,it is found that the society attaches great importance to the cooperation between museums and schools in concept,but in reality,it is hampered by many factors,and the development is slow,and the concept and practice are not consistent.In order to find out the reasons for this,on the basis of reviewing the existing research literature,using the methods of questionnaire survey,interview and observation,this study conducted a comprehensive investigation on the status quo of Jiayuguan museum-school cooperation,analyzed and summarized the problems and reasons existing in Jiayuguan museum-school cooperation,and proposed feasible improvement strategies.This study can be divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which expounds the research background,research significance and research methods,and summarizes the relevant researches at home and abroad.The second part describes the concept of museum,schools,and museum-school cooperation,and discusses the relevant theories of museum-school cooperation.The third part investigates and analyzes the current situation of the cooperation between museums and schools in Jiayuguan City.The fourth part analyzes the problems existing in the cooperation between museums and schools in Jiayuguan City,which are mainly manifested as insufficient support from schools,weak consciousness of museum for the cooperation between museums and schools,single forms and contents of the cooperation between museums and schools,and shortage of professional personnel in the cooperation between museums and schools.To explore the root cause of the existing problems,the main is the understanding of the museum-school cooperation is not in place,the lack of a strong mechanism for museum-school cooperation,the lack of development of museum-school cooperative course resources and museum-school cooperation professional personnel training is not in place.In the fifth part,based on the analysis of the problems and reasons,the author puts forward the improvement strategies from four aspects: improving the understanding of the importance of the cooperation between museums,establishing the long-term mechanism of the cooperation between museums,strengthening the development and utilization of curriculum resources and strengthening the training of professional personnel of the cooperation between museum and schools,in order to promote the sustainable development of the cooperation practice between museums and schools.
