| With the continuous advancement of the new curriculum education reform,new concepts,new environments,and new textbooks have brought new challenges to the history teaching in senior high schools.The "General Senior High School History Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition,2020 Revision)" clearly proposes to "emphasize the importance of taking the big ideas of disciplines as the core and structuring the course content." As soon as the "big ideas" in the new curriculum standard is released,it has attracted the attention and exploration of scholars and front-line teachers.As a guiding concept for the discipline knowledge framework and discipline thinking mode,professional concepts permeate the discipline content,meeting the needs of key competencies oriented discipline teaching.The big ideas has a very important value for senior high school history teaching,which can well help implement the task of cultivating morality and cultivating people,and cultivating the five key competencies of history.This article focuses on the teaching application of big ideas in cultivating key competencies of senior high school history.Based on the above understanding and previous research,first of all,discuss the conceptual definition and theoretical basis of the big ideas;Secondly,combined with the new concepts,new environments,and new textbooks in the context of the new curriculum education reform,this article illustrates the importance of the big ideas in senior high school history teaching,highlighting the application value of the big ideas;Thirdly,it focuses on the teaching application strategies of big ideas in the cultivation of senior high school history key competencies from three dimensions: pre class,during class,and after class;Finally,case teaching,taking the lesson "The Bourgeoisie Revolution and the Establishment of the Capitalist System",Lesson 9,Unit 4,Volume 2 of the Ministry’s Compiled Outline of Chinese and Foreign History,as an example,specifically explains the teaching application strategies of the big ideas in cultivating the historical key competencies of senior high school. |
