The autonomy,diversity,and difference in the ideological activities of contemporary high school students are increasing daily,diversification of values,the individuation of ideals and needs,and the degree of fragmentation of network information are also deepening.Many of them know little about the revolutionary tradition,revolutionary process,revolutionary forefathers,revolutionary deeds,and revolutionary spirit of the party and the country.In the current method of traditional revolutionary education,history teaching plays a crucial role.Strengthening the education of revolutionary tradition in senior high school history teaching for teenagers and guiding young students to inherit and carry forward revolutionary tradition is helpful to build a solid foundation for students to identify with the motherland,the nation,and the socialist system with Chinese characteristics,and to cast the soul for the healthy growth of students.It is of great significance and unique value to train socialist builders and successors.Following the idea of "why,what,and how," this study starts with the revolutionary tradition,and the introduction briefly describes the connotation of the revolutionary tradition and traditional revolutionary education.The first part explores "why" and clarifies why traditional revolutionary education is integrated into high school history teaching from the perspective of value.The second part explores "what," which sorts out the content of traditional revolutionary education in the unified compilation of high school history textbooks and clarifies how traditional revolutionary education is integrated into high school history teaching from the content level.The third part is based on the field investigation of high school historical revolutionary traditional education teaching,combined with some high school historical revolutionary traditional education teaching examples in the historical garden,probe into the existing problems of high school history teaching based on traditional revolutionary education,and explore the causes.The fourth part explores "how" and clarifies from the practical level how the traditional revolutionary education is integrated into high school history teaching and constructs an education system integrating "knowledge,feeling,intention,and practice." Based on cognitive education,focusing on emotional cultivation will shape as the key,and practice and exercise as the expansion.The healthy growth of high school students will be cast as the soul,enlightening the mind and nourishing the heart.The fifth part is a teaching attempt based on personal teaching design,"The Founding of the People’s Republic of China and the Transition to Socialism," reflecting on and summarizing high school history teaching based on traditional revolutionary education.The innovation of this research lies in that it takes "Four Histories" as the starting point,relies on the compilation of new high school history textbooks,takes high school history teaching practice as the carrier,and aims at improving students’ core qualities and cultivating students’ morals,to serve the construction of national curriculum ideology and politics.This paper analyzes and researches the principles of history teaching,pedagogy,psychology,and other disciplines comprehensively and integrates traditional revolutionary education into high school history teaching.To a certain extent,it enriches the scientific achievements of traditional revolutionary education,provides a more solid theoretical foundation for the construction of revolutionary formal education and teaching with Chinese characteristics,and has particular reference significance and value for further playing the educational function of history classroom and improving the educational value of history curriculum.
