| Since new century,"geographical practice ability" has been formally proposed as one of the four core qualities,across the two new geography curriculum revolutions in2001 and 2017.In accordance with "building people’s moral values",geographical practice ability curriculum has been raised to an unprecedented level as well.In the recent years,hundreds of studies focus on the geographical practice ability,but its formation mechanism is rarely discussed and concluded.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to investigate the current situation of geography practical power level of high school students and its influencing factors through literature analysis method,questionnaire survey method and multi-layer linear analysis method,to propose teaching suggestions for the problems in the process of geography practical power cultivation of high school students,and to carry out case implementation analysis.The study is divided into four main parts as follows.(1)Reviewed and analyzed the literature,sorted out the current situation of geography practical power research,and combined the previous research results with the current situation of research,to design a student questionnaire and a teacher questionnaire about the research of geography practical power level of high school students in Nanchang.(2)Made this questionnaire survey on a sample of 1200 high school students and 30 teachers in Nanchang to find out the key teacher factors and student factors affecting the level of geography practice power of high school students.The data were entered and organized in EXCEL and analyzed by Pearson’s correlation coefficient,ANOVA,and regression analysis in SPSS 27.0.1.(3)Performed a multilayer linear analysis by using HLM to construct null model,random coefficient regression model,intercept model,and full model for multilayer linear analysis.There are 3 conclusions drawn."Students’ spatial thinking,geographic achievement,higher-order thinking,and geographic practice are the most profound influence on students’ level of geographical practice ability","Teachers’ spatial thinking,self-efficacy,teachers’ emotion,and teaching skills are the most profound influence on students’ level of geographical practice ability ","There are strong interaction between students’ geographic achievement and teachers’ emotion,students’ geographical practice ability and teachers’ self-efficacy,students’ higher-order thinking and teachers’ spatial thinking,and students’ higher-order thinking and teachers’ teaching skills".(4)Edited a geographical practice ability development curriculum,based on the above results with reference of Ralph Taylor’s curriculum theory and the content of a compulsory part of the Humanities Education Edition.In conclusion,exploring the influence factors of school students’ geographical practice ability is beneficial to the comprehensive quality cultivation of students,providing a reference program in high school geography teaching and a basis for improving teaching methods to enhance teaching quality in the later stage. |
