The new curriculum standard encourages students to acquire knowledge and skills through autonomy, cooperation, and exploration in an information-based environment. With the continuous deepening of educational informatization, flipped classrooms have become easier and more popular. How to design curriculum for high school art in flipped classroom mode has become an important issue, and the Understanding-based Design(UbD)provides important theoretical and methodological guidance. This study will base on the UbD theory to design a curriculum for high school art classes under the flipped classroom model. This article first explores the feasibility of applying UbD theory to art course design in flipped classroom mode, how UbD theory is applied to art course design in flipped classroom mode, and how UbD theory is applied to high school art appreciation course design practice in flipped classroom mode. Finally, based on UbD theory, the high school art appreciation course design in flipped classroom mode is completed and applied to teaching practice, and the teaching effect is analyzed, and summarized the problems that exist in practice. The teaching practice results show that curriculum design based on UbD and flipped classroom theory can increase students’ interest in art appreciation courses, encourage students to actively participate in the course, enable students to master teaching content and methods skills, and thus improve teaching effectiveness. This study explores the necessity, feasibility, and process of applying UbD to teaching design in flipped classroom mode, which is theoretically innovative. |
