Chinese Government has been attaching great importance to skilled talents cultivation of addictive manufacturing industry.In contrast,3D printing education in secondary vocational schools lags behinds industrial development requirements.Case teaching method stresses integration of theory and practice,which can promote trainee’s problem analysis and solution ability and is popular in various professional curricula of secondary vocational education.However,it was rare applied into 3D Printing Technology Application curriculum,which is the main research content of the paper.To investigate the newest industrial requirements for knowledge,skills and professionalism of talents from secondary vocational schools,addictive manufacturing process types and concrete application knowledge in particular,and the present instructional situation of 3D Printing Technology Application curriculum.The author visited Guangzhou3 D Printing Industrial Park and made a series of questionnaire surveys on 5 secondary vocational schools in Guangzhou and Foshan.Based on the analysis of survey results,the paper sum up 4 classic problems existed in practical teaching,including lack of students’ studying motivation and teachers’ professional knowledge,short in industrial addictive manufacturing devices and case resource development.Therefore,4 Guidance Process case teaching was designed by process reconstruction with reference of Japanese science education field Manga-case teaching localization experience,American cognitive psychological advance organizer strategy and Chinese curriculum ideology and policy education wisdom.Its implementation obeys 4 principles of ideology advance,case leading,questions debating and circuit guiding.Besides,its applicability and feasibility was demonstrated.20 engineering application cases mainly composed of background,contents and questions were complied,which involves mainstream process types and classic engineering scenes,combines difficulty and depth,stresses practice and interest.SLM Aided Design New Hydraulic Valve Block,3DP Sand Casting and SLS Manufacturing Crankshaft were chosen for showing the process and accomplishments of writing cases.3DP Sand Casting was chosen for the instructional design and implementation of 4 Guidance Process case teaching experiment in Guangzhou L Vocational Schools.By comparing pretest questionnaire results with post-test questionnaire results,students made progress in the different degrees of learning interest,knowledge comprehension,practical experience and ideology modeling.It originally proves the instructional effects of 4 Guidance Process case teaching and basically fit the instructional expectation,which provides reference for further research.Finally,the paper comes to the conclusion and looks forward to the future.4 Guidance Process case teaching is of certain practical value and referential significance.What’s more,it provides a new choice for 3D Printing curriculum teaching in secondary vocational schools.
