Educational evaluation is the baton of educational work and plays an important guiding role in the process of teaching and educating people.The evaluation of students’ moral education is a core part of moral education research,and a good evaluation of students’ moral education not only helps to enhance the relevance and effectivenes of moral education work,but is also an important part of effectively implementing thefundamental task of establishing moral education.As senior secondary school is a critical period for students’ development in all aspects,and an important stage in their transition to higher education or to society,effective moral education is of great significance in promoting students’ healthy growth and sustainable development.Therefore,it isof great theoretical and practical significance to study the moral education evaluation of students in senior secondary school.This study explores the concept,content,methods and evaluation subjects of moral evaluation for high school students,and takes some general high schools in Shenyang,Liaoning Province as the research objects.Through the investigation and analysis ofthe current situation of moral education evaluation of high school students,we grasp the current problems of moral education evaluation of high school students,and then analyse the reasons affecting the effectiveness of moral education evaluation of high school students,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for moral education evaluation of high school students,in order to improve the effectiveness of moral education evaluation of high school students.At present,there is still a big gap between the current situation of implementing moral education assessment for high school students and the goal of establishing moral education,and there are generally problems in high schools such as outdated concepts of moral education assessment for students,incomprehensive assessment contents,unreasonable methods and approaches,and the absence of multiple evaluation subjects.The reasons for these problems are manifold,apart from the complexity of moral education and its evaluation,the implicit nature of students’ development,and the process nature,they are also related to the lack of theoretical and practical exploration of moral education evaluation in China,the serious tendency of utilitarianism in student evaluation,the limited evaluation literacy of evaluators and their ability to effectively implement moral education evaluation,and the disconnect between moral education work and students’ actual lives.In October 2020,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)and the State Council officially issued the General Plan for Deepening Educational Evaluation Reform in the New Era(hereinafter referred to as the General Plan),which has pointed out the direction for moral education evaluation reform in schools in the new era.Based on the study of the General Programme and the current situation of the implementation of moral evaluation for high school students in China,this study proposes that the effective implementation of moral evaluation for high school students should be done from both theoretical and practical levels: not only should the understanding of the importance of moral education be further strengthened,the concept of moral evaluation be updated,and the content of moral evaluation for high school students be improved,but also the ways and means of moral evaluation suitable for students’ development should be improved and explored,and a We should also improve and explore the ways and means of moral evaluation that are suitable for students’ development,and build up a pluralistic evaluation subject model to enhance the synergy of moral evaluation.
