| Under the background of the new curriculum reform,the application of exploratory teaching mode in junior high school mathematics classrooms is in line with teaching concepts and recognized by a large number of teaching researchers.However,in previous research on exploratory teaching,there have been relatively few studies involving functions.Based on this background,this article analyzes and studies the teaching procedures and practices of junior high school functions,and verifies the effectiveness of using exploratory teaching methods in function teaching.This study used literature analysis,questionnaire survey,classroom observation,experimental research,and interview methods.Firstly,by reviewing relevant literature,the background and significance of this study,as well as the theoretical basis of this study,are elaborated;secondly,by distributing survey questionnaires to junior high school mathematics teachers,the current situation of inquiry based teaching and the actual situation involving inquiry based teaching methods in function teaching are clarified,at the same time,analyze the results of questionnaire surveys and classroom observations to determine the teaching procedures in junior high school function teaching;finally,after obtaining the experimental results,interviews were conducted with students and teachers based on the interview outline to investigate their new understanding of function teaching,and to summarize and reflect on the shortcomings of this study.The research in this article shows that:(1)adopting exploratory teaching method can cultivate students’ spirit of cooperation,communication,and specialized research,accumulate mathematical experience in solving practical problems,help students experience the process of knowledge generation and development,and enable them to build their own mathematical knowledge framework on the basis of existing knowledge,thereby improving students’ grades;(2)in order to effectively apply inquiry based teaching methods,teachers must continuously improve their teaching abilities.Teachers should constantly update their educational concepts and enhance their personal educational literacy;be able to flexibly use various teaching methods to improve classroom teaching efficiency;comprehensively grasp students’ cognitive situation and carefully design exploratory activities;(3)exploratory teaching is conducive to building a "student-centered" mathematics classroom.Teachers create problem situations to stimulate students’ thirst for knowledge,guiding them to actively explore and construct knowledge.This not only achieves the student-centered teaching strategy advocated by modern educational concepts,but also satisfies students’ sense of achievement in learning. |
