| At present,with the rapid development of digital technology,the increasingly intelligent social life has become a basic feature of our society.At the same time,a trend parallel to digitalization is the trend of aging.According to the forecast of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security: during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period,my country’s elderly population will exceed 300 million.In this context,the elderly are gradually abandoned by informatization and intelligence,making it difficult for them to integrate into the digital society.This also aggravates the marginalization of the elderly in the digital age,and the problem of the digital divide for the elderly has become increasingly prominent.Therefore,paying attention to the digital integration of the elderly,helping them break the integration predicament,actively participating in digital life,and enjoying the dividends brought by digital life is the only way to achieve social equity.Based on the theory of social support and the digital divide,this paper uses questionnaires,semi-structured interviews and statistical analysis to study the effect of social support on the digital divide of the elderly from the following aspects: First,the media for the elderly The current situation of exposure and digital divide is analyzed to lay a foundation for the smooth development of follow-up research;secondly,relevant data are obtained through questionnaires,and SPSS statistical software is used to sort and analyze the obtained data to obtain the media exposure,digital divide and social Support status;third,link the collected data and conduct regression analysis to understand whether different social support measures have a significant impact on the degree of the elderly’s intellectual distress;fourth,combine semi-structured interviews and empirical research conclusions From the perspective of social support,it proposes countermeasures to bridge the digital divide of the elderly.This paper draws the following conclusions: first,the control variables age,place of residence,education level and income status are significant factors affecting the degree of intellectual distress in the elderly;second,cognitive and emotional support from family members,peers,Behavioral support from society has a significant impact on reducing the elderly’s intellectual distress;third,bridging the digital divide for the elderly should start with the help of family members and peers in terms of cognitive support and emotional support,play a role in family feedback and strengthen peer communication.In terms of behavioral support,we should start from the main body of the society,form a joint force from multiple parties,take multiple measures simultaneously,and work for a long time. |
