Interpersonal communication occupies an important part in your daily lives,which has an important impact on individuality and social development of individuals.In the face of social situation,junior high school students in adolescence is more likely to produce social withdrawal,in order to explore the mechanism of social withdrawal of junior high school students,this study focuses on the influence of the negative peer experience of peer victimization on the social withdrawal of junior high school students,as well as the role of social self-efficacy and negative automatic thoughts.This study adopts the method of questionnaire investigation,a total of 1200 junior high school students from four schools in Zhoukou City and Xuchang City were selected as the research objects,and“The Peer Victimization Scale” “The Perceived Social Self-efficacy Scale” “The Automatic Thoughts Quetionnaire” and “The Social Withdrawal Scale” were used to explore the characteristics of peer victimization,social self-efficacy,negative automatic thoughts and social withdrawal of junior high school students,as well as the mechanism of peer victimization on social withdrawal of junior high school students,and a total of 1124 valid questionnaires were collected,and the following conclusions were drawn through data analysis:(1)There were significant differences in the grade and student origin of peer victimization among junior high school students;there were significant differences in gender,grade,and student origin of negative automatic thoughts;there were significant differences in the gender and place of origin of social self-efficacy;and there were significant differences in social withdrawal in the place of origin.(2)The peer victimization can significantly positively predict social withdrawal in junior high school students.(3)The social self-efficacy of junior high school students can mediate the impact of peer victimization on social withdrawal.(4)Negative automatic thoughts in junior high school students can partly mediate the impact of peer victimization on social withdrawal.(5)Junior high school students’ social self-efficacy and negative automatic thoughts play a chain mediating role in the impact of peer victimization on social withdrawal.According to the results of the study,the educational countermeasures to intervene in the social withdrawal of junior high school students are proposed: to improve the level of awareness of peer victimization and create a good peer interaction environment;to train adolescents’ social skills and enhance their sense of social self-efficacy;to reduce adolescents’ negative cognition and negative emotional experience,and to reduce adolescents’ negative automatic thoughts.
