The types of creative media in various artistic categories of painting are constantly expanding.The comprehensive application of media provides more different ways and forms of expression for contemporary painting art creation,making its artistic outlook present the trend and trend of diversity and integration.Media is not only the material basis of artistic creation,but also the carrier of artist’s expression of emotion and spirit.At present,the teaching dilemma of using media materials in art classroom teaching in junior middle school is mainly to synthesize the painting creation of comprehensive materials,which leads to the accumulation of creative media materials in the picture,the lack of understanding of media materials and the design of the picture,the failure to give full play to its characteristics,and the difficulty in stimulating students’ innovative thinking in art learning.In art teaching,how to make students choose and apply the characteristics of media materials in painting creation is the key to the performance of painting creation.Therefore,media should be integrated into junior high school art teaching,and signs should be taken as the entry point to pay attention to the performance characteristics of media materials.From the perspective of the relationship between art teaching and sign expression,it is necessary to explore the signs and performance characteristics of various media.This paper focuses on the application of signs in the field of "modeling · expression" in junior high school art.The full text is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,in-depth analysis of the research background,significance and research methods,a systematic analysis of domestic and foreign research status.The second part is the definition and development of related concepts,and makes clear the theoretical basis of related teaching.The third part is about teachers,students and teaching,and expounds the important role of sign performance training in junior art teaching.The fourth part is to sort out the Lingnan version of junior high school art teaching materials,compare the course teaching content,analyze the questionnaire data,and summarize the current situation and shortcomings of junior high school art teaching.In the fifth part,students are the main body,problems are the center,and theme units are the basis for the design of junior high school art signs and performance related courses.According to the current teaching problems in the field of "modeling and performance" in junior high school art,targeted teaching strategies are proposed,and the above strategies are used to design and implement specific teaching cases,and the effectiveness and problems in teaching practice are analyzed.Summarize the problems in the classroom,so as to better test and verify,and constantly improve the teaching strategy.The sixth part is divided into research conclusions and prospects,and expounds how signs play a promoting role and significance in junior art teaching.At the same time,it also analyzes the development trend and problems of the application of materials in the classroom.Finally,the conclusion is drawn: From multiple angles and levels,teachers can dig deeply into the unique charm conveyed by various traces of different forms in painting creation,provide rich materials for students to explore new artistic aesthetic characteristics and improve new forms of creation,and use conception,discovery,association and other training methods to cultivate students’ innovative thinking to create different performance effects.So as to stimulate students’ artistic creativity.The embedment of task-driven teaching method and the construction of multi-subject and multi-dimensional teaching evaluation model are conducive to promoting the effectiveness of teaching practice.
