After the reform and opening up,left behind children,as a complex social group,have attracted extensive attention.In recent years,the society has paid special attention to the quality improvement,development and empowerment of rural left behind children.Promoting the quality improvement,development and empowerment of rural left behind children is not only the due meaning of improving the living conditions of rural left behind children,but also the internal requirement of improving grass-roots social governance and training talents for the future.Community education can play an important role in it,especially through the intervention of social work specialty in the process of community education and the construction of integrated community education strategy,which has become a practical way to improve the quality,development and empowerment of rural left behind children.Through in-depth field visit and investigation in W street of Wuhan,this study understands the actual situation of rural left behind children in W street.Through semistructured interview and questionnaire survey on professional social workers in social work stations,rural left behind children and their guardians,this study analyzes the difficulties faced by rural left behind children in participating in community education and explores the causes of the difficulties of rural left behind children in participating in community education.The study found that the difficulties faced by rural left behind children in participating in community education are as follows: first,the government’s educational orientation is single;Second,the sustainability is poor;Third,the lack of community education resources;Fourth,the degree of public trust is not high.First,the government supports the community;Second,the linkage mechanism between home,school and station is not perfect;Third,the mining and utilization of community resources is not enough;Fourth,the professional quality of social work community education is lack.Based on the results of the empirical investigation and analysis of rural left behind children’s participation in community education,this study believes that the development of rural left behind children’s community education needs to innovate and build an integrated community education strategy for rural left behind children.Therefore,this study proposes that social work intervene from the three dimensions of community education subject,community education content and community education form,integrate the connection between community education subject and content by aggregating multiple subjects of community education and expanding the multi content of community education,and show it in the form of community education,so as to realize the construction of integrated community education strategy.Obtain social support in all aspects of community education and build a formal and informal social support network for community education of rural left behind children.It is expected to provide theoretical guidance and practical path for promoting the quality and self realization of rural left behind children,implementing the national talent training strategy and improving grass-roots social governance.
