With the development of the times,the traditional classroom teaching mode can not fully meet the requirements of junior high school history education.History education needs to keep pace with the times,and explore more ways and modes to realize the educational value of history courses better.the History Second Classroom refers to the history education activities that history teachers organize students to conduct self-learning and cooperative exploration in a purposeful and planned way based on the History First Classroom besides the history classroom teaching in schools.the History First Classroom mainly teaches students basic history knowledge,cultivates students’ basic history learning ability,and provides conditions for the development of students.It is a kind of general education.the History Second Classroom makes full use of curriculum resources,develops students’ individual potential and cultivates talents with practical ability based on the teaching of the History First Classroom,makes up for the shortage of time and space in the History First Classroom,meets students’ needs for individual development and comprehensive development from many aspects,and conforms to the new curriculum standard of "Based on students’ core quality,Give full play to the educational function of history course " curriculum concept.In view of the current development of history education,the History First Classroom is playing a major role in the teaching of history education,but the auxiliary value of the History Second Classroom should be given full play.In this way,the two classes can play the educational role of history education together in the supplement of general and personality education.Under the guidance of the new curriculum standard,this paper starts from the curriculum concept,curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and other aspects of the new curriculum standard,combined with the analysis of the questionnaire survey results in two middle schools in Xiushan County,Chongqing and Kunming City,Yunnan Province,and explores the theoretical basis,content form and method suggestions of the History Second Classroom education in junior high schools under the guidance of the new curriculum standard.The study of the History Second Classroom in junior high school from the perspective of curriculum standards provides certain research perspectives and ideas for scholars to study the History Second Classroom in junior high school.On the basis of theoretical research and questionnaire analysis,this paper holds that the History Second Classroom in junior high school under the guidance of the new curriculum standards can be carried out in "three forms"(namely,the History Second Classroom relying on existing campus resources,the History Second Classroom relying on off-campus practice resources,and the History Second Classroom relying on network information resources).We should attach importance to the "five characteristics"(namely,the selectivity of students’ participation,the richness of learning content,the flexibility of learning time and space,the diversity of learning forms,and the inquiry of learning practice).It is necessary to adhere to the "four principles"(namely,the principle of combining knowledge learning with ability cultivation,the principle of combining student subject with teacher guidance,the principle of combining local conditions with students’ aptitude,and the principle of combining learning arrangement with safety guarantee).In addition,this paper puts forward three attention issues and five suggestions on the implementation of the History Second Classroom,hoping to provide some ideas and suggestions for the majority of middle school history teachers when carrying out the History Second Classroom in junior high school.
