Along with the history of human development,epidemics have played an important role in many aspects such as the success or failure of wars,the change of dynasties,and the evolution of civilization.From the Peloponnesian War to the Renaissance,from the ancient smallpox to the pandemic influenza virus sweeping the world,the struggle between human beings and bacteria,viruses and diseases has never stopped.The outbreak of the new crown pneumonia at the end of 2019 once again made mankind realize the horror of the epidemic and the panic and helplessness of human society when facing the epidemic.Although the epidemic has temporarily dissipated and society has gradually returned to normal,the most important thing is the in-depth reflection and formation of human cognition of disease after the epidemic.This paper is in line with the current era background and historical teaching reflection,based on the implementation of core literacy,to cultivate students’ rational cognition of epidemic disasters.In this paper,this paper takes the teaching of high school historical epidemic history as the research object,and tries to seek the way of teaching high school historical epidemic history based on text,case analysis and other research methods.The teaching of epidemic history is of great significance in the teaching of history in high schools,because it not only echoes the reform of the history curriculum,helps to implement the cultivation of morality and core literacy,but also is required for the implementation of the concept of ecological civilization.Although the current curriculum standards do not clearly point out the specific requirements of the concept or concept of "teaching epidemic history",after careful study,it is found that the emphasis on "life,health",ecological civilization and four self-confidence education in the curriculum standards is closely related to the teaching of epidemic history,and its related requirements can also be regarded as requirements for teaching epidemic history.Therefore,in order to better analyze the problems existing in the current teaching of epidemic history,this paper systematically sorts out the teaching content of epidemic disease in the "Outline of Chinese and Foreign History"(upper and lower)and optional compulsory textbooks,and conducts questionnaire surveys and interviews on the implementation status of epidemic history in high school history teaching,and the results show that the current teaching of epidemic history mainly has problems such as outdated teaching concepts,thin teaching content and large subject span.In order to solve these problems,the author believes that the following aspects can be started: First,integrate the content of epidemic history according to the curriculum standards.We can combine the relevant historical events in textbooks to strengthen the connection between the knowledge of epidemic history;Combined with teaching tasks at different stages and students’ conditions,build a knowledge system of epidemic history;Using interdisciplinarity,leading interdisciplinary penetration in biology,language and geography.Secondly,starting from the implementation of historical core literacy,give full play to the teaching value of epidemic history.We need to base ourselves on the concept of time and space,and sort out the epidemics in ancient and modern China and abroad;Based on the materialist view of history,understand ancient and modern Chinese and foreign epidemics;Based on historical evidence and historical interpretation,collect historical materials for the history of epidemics;Based on the feelings of home and country,tell the stories of warlike epidemic characters.Finally,according to the characteristics of historical disciplines,carry out epidemic education activities.For example,the interpretation of typical cases of epidemic history and the creation of epidemic-themed scripts,etc.,these teaching suggestions have a certain theoretical basis and practical operation,in order to serve the purpose of cultivating virtue and cultivating people and the implementation of the core literacy of the discipline,and provide a method reference for the teaching practice of epidemic history in the new course.In short,through the teaching of epidemic history,students can deepen their understanding of life and value,and have a sense of national biological science,medical care,daily behavior and habits,etc.,so as to form a positive and world-minded life value orientation.
